There are many reasons I love the books/films - they're set in such a big, wonderful world but still it is so relatable and makes you feel like magic could be real and that this world you're watching does exist because the characters are just like normal muggles with a few advances. But, that isn't the one big thing that makes the books and films so special to me.
What is that then?
Well, in life you have a choice between good and evil. Some can be forced into either, driven into being a good or bad person, and that makes them powerless to their own good. It makes them too weak to fight their own demons when really all they want to be is brave. Draco Malfoy is the example for this; the only example that truly fits, at that.
Malfoy is a good person. Yes, he's a sassy as fuck bully growing up, but as he grows up he matures and notices that his entire life he's been being his dad and he realises what being a Malfoy has done to him. And he's afraid of the reality of that because he isn't evil, nor does he want to be. He gets driven into a life he doesn't want and while Voldemort is alive, there is nothing he can do about it.
But this chapter isn't about Malfoy alone. No, this chapter is about the truth of the message in between the lines. As the books go on, and the characters mature, we see more torturous events happening to the good people rather than those who are evil.
Hermione is literally tortured by Bellatrix in the Malfoy Manor for being a muggle-born or 'mudblood'. Neville is fighting a battle that isn't his yet still being treated like the outcast when he's one of the strongest of the pack. Harry is being mistreated by not only the family he was given, but also by some of the professors given to him, soon finding out that the only way he can kill Voldemort is by dying himself because his scar makes him one of the horcruxes. Dumbledore mistreated him the worst there.
Good is always in a battle with their demons because evil is always the ones willing to fight; evil people are the people willing to kill an innocent person for their own enjoyment, like Bellatrix killed Sirius Black in Order of the Phoenix. Due this, good people are forced to fight a war they don't know how to fight. Good people are forced to be strong and tactical as they want the least innocent people to die whilst evil enjoys the bloodshed.
The thing I find so special about the books, if you couldn't already tell, is that statement of saying evil, no matter what situation it is in, is ALWAYS stronger than good but good is practical and brave. The only thing that makes good stronger than evil in many scenarios is love. If you love the people being tortured by evil, be it a friend or a significant other, then you're more than likely to grow so much anger that boils in strength because you will do ANYTHING to save that person. You're not letting them get hurt and that's that. J.K. Rowling shows this idea of truth beautifully in the books and thats what I feel makes the franchise so special above many other reasons.
No matter how old you are, or what kind of person you are, these books give you ways of which you can relate to the characters, if it's from being on a fight against evil or having to be strong when all you can think of is your weaknesses. These books can make anyone feel special and happy about the kind of person they are in reason and that's what I feel is the best part about it.

There is probably every spelling mistake in this but I wrote this at 6am so... :'). Now, it's your turn...
I would like to know, what makes the Harry Potter series/franchise so special to you? Is it the same reasons as me or something else? Why?
That's the only question this time! :) Have a lovely day/night wherever you are!
(I have a list of things I'm doing for this now so recommendations would still be nice but they're not necessary.)

My Harry Potter Opinions.
RandomOne of my favourite things in the world, one of the things that makes me the most happiest, is Harry Potter. Not only do I fall more and more in love with the story, being the books and the films, everyday, but I also grow more intellectual about it...
