It was fair to say that I felt different, not the kind that means I have to walk like a crab and constantly think about last night. I just feel different, a good different, one kind of feeling that I know will fade but will still remember it.

And what caused that feeling, wink wink.

Even as the sun warmed the room through the curtains, and the cool, crinkled sheets cover our entangle bodies, I knew it was gonna be a while till I shook this feeling away.

And with my eyes open and locked on the man that lay beside me, I couldn't help but feel this longing, this love for him. One that couldn't mask the bond, and wasn't controlled by it. For all I knew in this moment, I had no problems, no worries and no past. I was here and no where else.

I was Nicola, mate of Xavier YoungBlood.

A man who was stronger than most wolves and completely mine. Someone who could lead a pack and yet still face his own demons without bringing others down.

A man I love.

Xavier sniffs, his head shifting slightly as his eyes flutter open, sleep clearly still tugging them down. Smiling I watch in silence as his eyes eventually fall on mine. Immediately he smiles, an image he must have though was great, but at the angle he had to be able to see my only made his face scrunch together.

And it is safe to say that by far was the main reason why I laughed.

He narrowed his eyes, a faint smile still evident as he watched me with curiosity. I had to bite my lip in an attempt to stop giggling. He shook his head playfully at my response.

"How you feeling?" He asked, his gaze still set on me as those amber eyes set alight. I shifted slightly, suddenly remembering that my bare skin was pressed against him. Freezing, I give him a small smile, my mind running wild as I whisper a mere, "good".

His smile widens, "Me too."

Comfortable silence fills the short distance between us as we fall into ease next to each other. He rubs my arm slightly, taking in a deep breath as he does so.

Was it odd to think that this couldn't be more perfect, his arms around me and our breathing mixed.

It was great until I felt the welcoming committee that controlled my bladder. Tensing, a try not to silently groan in frustration. Why now body?

Do you not have any decency?!

Sighing, I fling the covers over me, my legs swinging to rush to the bathroom. But as my bare feet the floor, I felt an unfamiliar cold wind against my body. And as if it were the easiest thing to forget, my bare body stood infront of Xavier.

Gulping I stop, my eyes staring at the door as my face reddens.

I hear him chuckle slightly.

"Where you off to in such a rush?" He asks, humour lining his voice. I cuss under my breath my eyes searching for something to wear.

"I need the loo," I stutter, ignoring the feeling of his eyes dancing along my body.

He chuckles once again, "So then please explain to me why you are searching the floor."

I freeze once again, my eyes now meeting with his as I stare at him like I was ready to murder.

"I need some clothes so I can go to the loo," I answer.

"Why, you look so perfect without them," He replies, his eyes twinkling with something as I stare at him wide eyed.

I sealed my lips shut. Not knowing how to respond to that I continued my search, only to hear another chuckle from Xavier.
