A/N: This chapter isn't in Vyncent's perspective! It's in Venus Ventura's.

When the stars cry, I'll be alright.

When I saw him in my dream, at first I didn't recognise him. Unlike the other times I'd seen him in my dreams, a solemn face in a bustling crowd, this time he was smiling. One blood red eye and the other night black, a night black with no stars. His face was stark white, like that of a ghost. A smiling, heterochromia boy. Someone who I've never met, but heard of in countless stories of death. Now he, himself, was close to his own death, with his face as pale as a ghost.

I don't know why I see him in my dreams. He's always there, in a way he's like my shadow, a part of me I can never run away from. The stars cry above me, and tonight, I feel like crying with them. Crying for the boy who I have never met, but has walked with me in my dreams.

I sat on the beach, my hands lifting the sand, then letting it fall back down. I watched the waves that we can't touch open their mouths and engulf the salt water. The smell of the sea, so faint, but it was there.

Star spirits tiptoed on my palm, making my heart flutter. I sang to them, a song I learnt from Sagittarius and Orion the day my mother disappeared.

Cold whispers in the stars,
Stardust falls into your eyes.
Timeless memories in the void of space,
Sing to me,
Sing to me,
Sing to me.
A liquid stallion turns into glass,
and fires burn in the hearth of your heart.
Sing to me,
Sing to me.
Sing to me, star spirits.

It reminded me of when I left the island.
