I don't know if I should go or stay. Syka said if I can't go until midnight, I will regret it for my entire life.

"What if I stay?"

I will continue to be living with these monsters. I will live as a slave and die as a slave. If I stay, my life would be a mess and I will be unable to be free. Yeah, I want to explore the world.

On the positive side, I'm here on Earth to find myself. I don't know who I am. I have no entity nor identity. What if my parents are still here finding me?

No way! They left me here to be miserable so maybe I should go.

*Tick-tock*

It's already lunch. I should go down and cook for them.

Surprisingly, they aren't downstairs.

I saw a note under the fruit tray. It says that they were out going to the ball of Princes and Princesses.

The perfect time! I finally made up my mind and now, I should go.

But wait, how would I enter the gateway?

"Thy reflection: To passeth by thy hand" those words revolve in my head as I was thinking how to get in.

I investigated the floor which where it all started but I had nothing.

Logically, a reflection can be seen through water or a mirror.

So I stumbled to a big mirror in my stepmom's room. Pretty normal and nothing.

"TO PASSETH BY THY HANDS"

I placed my palm on the surface of the mirror waiting something to happen. A light suddenly draws lines onto the mirror and opened a gateway.

I step in going to the other side. The passage closed after I have entered.

"Bye."

All I see is a hut, at the end of the bridge, on the middle of the ocean.

I walked towards it and a boat appeared out of nowhere.

Due to curiosity, I hopped unto it and stayed for a while.

"Hi!"

I was shook by that tiny voice. Actually, it is different from Syka's.

"Welcome to the Gateway!"

"AAAAH! You scared me!"

It turns out that it's a speaking tiny green frog. Pretty sure it's normal.

"I'm Lala, the smallest wizard in Magika. Are you ready for the ride of your life?"

"Of course, I was born ready."

"Before anything else. Please ensure you hold on tight and *POOF* do not swallow and let this candy out of your mouth. Just let it stay in your mouth please. It will help you breathe underwater."

What?! Seriously, underwater?

The boat sinked and went really below the ground. I had gestures with Lala to ask if this travel would be far.

"You can speak underwater here in Magika."

"Wow!"

Oh gosh! The candy slipped away from my mouth! Now I can't breathe.

"Give me another candy!"

"Magikans can't make spells underwater. Just hold your breath because we're halfway there. You can do it."

I saw the panic in her eyes.

"Please go faster!"

Lala speed it up. But it was too late, I passed out and drowned.

Gladly, I woke up alive. Lala told me that I was kissed by a mermaid. She said that if you are kissed by a mermaid, you will be granted with an ability to breathe underwater forever.

"So now, I can breathe underwater? Forever?"

"Yes and yes." she answered.

Lala brought me to a talking big door.

"What's the password?" it said

"Say 'Grant me passage to Magika' and then bow with your fist on your chest."

"Grant me passage to Magika" I said doing the bow

"You may enter."it said

The door opened revealing a land of wonder and magic.

"Welcome to Magika, Aries!" said Lala.
