ARIES and the Kingdom of Magika

Chapter Four: Destiny

THE EYE's POV

"To die and to be free

To get home taken away from thee

That the demons cannot see

And be sought by a glorious identity"

A child with potential hidden in its heart; an Earthling is very much likely where that potential is gonna be released through magic. The prophecy states that darkness can be fully vanished through a child destined to be a hero.

So the queen and I decided to get Earthlings with deserving factors considered. They are called 'The Chosen One'. They are trained and molded with wisdom, strength, power, and kindness.

Why is there such thing as the prophecy?

A war once started between two powerful sisters. A war led by Queen Gallia, Queen Francia's long lost sister.

Due to greediness over power, Gallia brought out the fire. Francia has no choice but to fight for Magika. The war lasted for about 2 weeks where the triumph was gained by Francia.

The spirit monarchy, the place where the spirits of the forgotten (dead) go, was agitated. They got to pick who deserves Magika better. Obviously, it was Francia but then, Gallia was sentenced and jailed in the Carcerem, the place for Magikans who have sinned.

But Gallia escaped and built a kingdom faraway from Magika called 'Kingdom of Erebus'.

The problem is that the first prophecy states:

A once defeated will return

With more power and more army

One Queen will fall

Together with its men

Till that day, we never lost hope in finding the destined, the chosen one. So, when I saw and touched Aries, I saw hope, I saw the prophecy.

I told the queen about that and she was surprised. She lend her most majestic room and fed him.

"Are you sure Aries is the prophecy?" said the queen

"He has the potentials to be one so officially he is not the prophecy."

But we should try and train him. He could be the one who would defeat the darkness coming real soon. The queen went to Aries to talk to him and I followed her.

"Do you have any family or relatives back on Earth?" asked the queen.

"None" Aries answered.

He then told his story about not having his parents by his side. And he asked:

"Why am I here?"

"Because the place of your dreams and destiny is here in Magika."

"What destiny?"

"The destiny to be a hero of your own. The destiny to find the truth. The destiny to the way to yourself."

Then I wandered around the castle.

I was on the bridge staring at the grasses, trees, eros (birds), and feeling the breeze of the cold wind. Until I felt strange eyes watching me.

I saw a man on the other side looking at me with his bow and arrow on his back.

ARIES' POV

The queen told me to see the castle by myself. But I really was curioused by what the queen said. I couldn't help myself thinking of it. So I decide to find The Eye to inquire some questions.

"Where's The Eye?"

The guards said she went outside to the bridge.

"You cannot go out the castle without our accompaniment." said the guards

Without further ado, they helped me find The Eye. We went to the bridge but The Eye was not there.

"Where is she?"

I stumbled to an arrow on the ground. That particular arrow was with spots of blood and a piece of white cloth.

"What is the meaning of this?"
