The Play pt1

Troy's POV

Every day we had a theater class at school I had a wakeup call from Newt, every time! He was so happy about acting and dancing, and he forgot the only reason I joined this class was to hang out with some very beautiful ladies! As soon as the class starts he gets all hyper and screams to everyone, it's been one and a half weeks since the teacher taught us the songs we would perform at the little musical thing she planned. She would announce our pairs for the dance and I kept crossing my fingers I'm with Niecy Johnson, I was walking down the hall when Newt jumped up on me

"Hey, what day is it today? He said while fixing his shirt.

"Oh let me guess, theater class? I responded giving him a smile

"Yes exactly, it's the day we have the list of our pairs, oh gosh I really hope Asha is my partner, since she is my girlfriend she needs to be my partner in the musical right?

"Yeah but she's a bit taller than you, don't you think you need someone at the same height so you can perform the moves better?

"Yes this is exactly why I started going to the gym to get taller! " i gave him a smile again, and we walked in class where Mrs. Snow was already waiting for us, with a list in her hand, Newt approached her with his weird attitude

"So, any chance I could take a peek of this majestic list you're holding there?

"No Newt, please sit down, I will shortly announce the pairs for the musical"

I sat on my desk and looked over at Sophie yawning, she seemed tired, probably her brothers kept her awake again.

"Hey Soph, any specific partner you want? I asked her

"Is there any chance I can be my own partner? Troy all i want to do is sleep!

I shook my head and tried to find Niecy and make eye contact with her, we had to be together in the play, she is one of the top girls at school and this class is a wide open chance to date her again.

"Okay, can I please have your attention? Guys? Ok thank you, as you noticed I have made this list of partners after seeing you performing and through a lot of thought, I think it's just perfect!

Niecy Johnson you'll be with Andrew Matthews.

"What? " I yelled without noticing, and I saw everyone staring at me, while Sophie tried to hold her laugh and Newt gave me a sympathy look, "I mean why is Niecy first on the list I thought we were going Alphabetically, " I said trying to make myself feel less embarrassed,

"Troy be patient," Now, Sarah you're with Jordan,

I can't believe I won't be with Niecy then what am I even doing in this class, it's just awful, i looked at Sophie whose face was red from not laughing outloud.

"Will you ever stop laughing? i asked her

"I'm sorry it was just so funny, you really thought you'd be with her and then she would take you back? Troy Niecy never really liked you,

"Why does everyone keep saying that ?"

"Because its the truth. Look she doesnt even care you're not together, you should forget about her'

"Delarosa with Stewart Stevens!"

"What? Sophie yelled standing up from her seat, she was literally freaking out

"Sophie please sit down," Mrs Snow said as she kept reading names on that list

"How does it feel now huh? I whispered to Sophie laughing, "I guess Karma exist" Stewart is really annoying he was always correcting everyone's moves and the way we sang, and now he's paired up with Sophie ,oh god she will explode.
