Some things always seem to last

Chapter 2 - Here we go again!

I could say that Nicky scanned the room and when he found me his eyes where shining happily. I bit my lip when he came over and gave me a big hug. Sweety! He said in his sweet voice and I laid my arms around him. Suddenly I felt like being home after a long journey. We stood there like that for a very long time. My heart slowed down, I felt so comfortable in his arms. You should have seen your face, Sweety! He said after a long time. I punched him slightly. Not funny, Byrne! I laughed. Oh it was very funny. He said. I just shook my head and inhaled his wonderful smell.

Do you want to say Hi to the lads? He asked and pulled me gently to the others. They all smiled at me. I knew that I've seen you before. Shane said, blinking at me. I just smiled and I enjoyed Nickys warm hand that still held mine. Are you up for coming to the pub tonight? Kian asked. We looked at each other and nodded. Why not? Said Nicky. But now she's mine alone. He laughed.

So we've spent the rest of the afternoon outside. We went to a park where we sat in the gras and talked. He told me everything about being in Westlife, everything that had happened during the six years. And I told him about my life. Then we went to the pub that was very crowed. But nobody expected Westlife there so we had a small table for ourself. Shane had brought Gillian, Kian Jodi and Mark Kevin. There was not much space left when we arrived so I just sat on Nickys lap. He had his arms around me and we just enjoyed each others company. We couldn't stop smiling at each other, it just felt great having each other back. We've laughed a lot that evening, living hasn't been that easy since Nicky had left me.

After the pub we took a cab to his house. It just felt natural spending more time with him. We sat on a big lounge sofa on his terrace drinking some wine. We were really close to each other I could feel his warmth. He smiled at me and his hand gently touched my cheek. I bit my lip and enjoyed the moment. His face came nearer and he stopped a few millimeter before mine.
