Chapter 18

It's been 3 months from the last time I saw the boys. I haven't talked to them either I guess I just didn't mean that much to them for them to try to get me back. But they have gotten even bigger and I can't be more proud.

I still don't like Abigail but I guess I have to put up with her. She signed me up for dancing one day without any warning. One day she came home and said "Get in the car you're going to dance class."

I thought it was gonna be a pain but it's actually not to bad. Oh and in case you were wondering no I haven't made anymore friends and I don't plain on it. Yeah people talk to me but I don't talk to them.

I like to be by myself instead. I don't want people worrying about me. And most of all I don't want to get attached to someone then have to leave them. I don't want my heart to break again like when I had to leave.

I walked into the house and walked into my room and put on my shorts that I could easily move in and a black shirt that said 'Dance Academy' in gold glittery letters. I put my hair up and grabbed my bag and went downstairs.

"Ready to go?" Abigail asked me as I walked into the kitchen to get a water bottle. "Yep." I said putting the bottle in my bag and walking out the door. I got in the car with Abigail doing the same. "So do you like dance?" She asked me breaking the silence.

"Yeah. It's not as bad as I thought." I told her looking out the window. We got to the studio and I got out of the car and walked in. I was practicing our routine when I heard my name called. "Kayla. Come over here." My dance teacher told me.

I walked over to her where all the other girls were. "Okay so we have a dancer coming in today and she will help you guys." She explained to us. "She will be here soon so go practice." She told us. We all broke apart and I started to do the dance routine.

I was almost done when I heard my name. "Kayla?" I turned around and never thought I would see her again. "Danielle?" I asked her. She ran over to me and gave me a hug. "Oh my gosh. I never thought I would see you again. How have you been?" I asked her with a huge grin on my face.

"I've been good. I see you're following in my footsteps." She told me. I laughed. "I've missed you." I told her. She nodded. "We'll talk later." She told me before walking over to some other girls.

"Let me tell Abigail to not pick me up." I told Danielle taking out my phone. I hit send and put my phone away. We exited the studio and walked over to her car. "Wanna go for a coffee?" She asked me. "Yeah sure." I told her as she turned on the radio.

I started to hum along to the tune. She pulled into the café and we walked inside. We walked up to the counter. "Hello what can I get you ladies?" Gale asked us. "Oh hey Kayla." He told me smiling. I waved and said hello to him. "2 medium coffees please." Danielle told him.

I know Gale because I come here a lot. "Here you go." He told us handing us our coffee. "Thanks Gale. See you tomorrow." I told him. He smiled and nodded. We went outside and sat down. "So how have to been?" Danielle asked starting the conversation. I sighed and looked down at my hands before looking back up at her.

"Eh. Not to good." I told her. She frowned. "Why not love?" She asked me. "I hate Abigail I don't have anyone to talk to. I miss you, the girls, Emily. And the lads. Oh god. I've missed them so much." I told her. "Hey. You should know you can always call me." She told me.

"I just didn't think you would want to talk to me." I told her. She looked at me. "Don't think that. Of course I would want to." She told me. "Anyway enough about me. How have you been?" I asked her. She smiled. "Pretty good." She told me.

I nodded and watched her pull out her phone to text someone. It was dark now and there were lights on outside the café. "Shall we go?" She asked me standing up. I nodded and got up walking to her car.

"Thanks for the coffee and it was nice seeing you." I told Danielle getting out of the car. I walked in the house and saw Abigail sitting on the couch. "Where did you go?" She asked me. "I was out with an old friend." I told her.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a banana and went upstairs. I got in the shower and quickly washed up and ran into my room and got in my pajamas. I got out my laptop and started the move 'Hunger Games' it's one of my favorites.

Hello! So I will probably update tomorrow I'm gonna try to. Saturday I won't because I have my cousins coming over and I haven't seen them in awhile and I have to spend time with them so I will update tomorrow.
