Anthony's POV
I pulled Anna's face to mine and told her that if these were going to be our last moments at least we have each other and we can be together. I pulled her closer, kissed her and then grabbed her hand. She quickly wrapped herself into an embrace around me. I whispered into her ear
Forget about everyone else on this plane, its just you and me okay? I kissed her forehead. We go together.
I looked out the window and saw how close to the water we were. I held Anna tighter and closed my eyes.
I felt the impact of the plane throughout my body. I heard people praying and screaming, I also heard Anna's cries.
To my surprise I found myself able to open my eyes and move. I quickly turned to Anna to see if she was okay. I pulled her up and told her to grab her carry on and get out of the plane. I followed behind her as others were trying to do the same thing. The sandy ground of the island was close enough for me to jump off and pull Anna down. I found a shaded area and told Anna to sit while we waited.
The pilot told everyone that help was coming and that it could take awhile. Anna and I decided to find bananas or coconuts for everyone to eat until help came.
As we were coming back to the meeting place we couldn't find anyone but in the distance we could see a ship sailing away from the island.
Annas POV
"they left us..." I say "Anthony they left us."
