Scared (Liam Payne)

Chapter 9

I was getting dressed for the party. I put on my jeans and my elephant t shirt. My phone started to buzz.

From Liam:
hey u busy 2night?

Oh crap. I didn't want him to know I was going to a party with Ashton.

To Liam:
Can't. family needs my help

That was a lie. My mom and dad are out.

From Liam:
oh

To Liam:
Yeah I gtg now. sorry

From Liam:
bye

I hate lying. Especially with someone I'm almost comfortable with. My stomach started to hurt, this is the effect of it.

The door bell rings. I go downstairs and open the door.

"Hello!" Ashton said.

Ashton was wearing a jacket with a nirvana shirt.

"You look lovely." That made me smile.

We walked to the car. One of his friend was driving the car.

"Oh Saige this is Calum. Calum this is Saige." Ashton said.

"Hello!" Calum looked into the mirror to know what I looked like.

I didn't want to say anything but I didn't want to be rude.

"Hi." I said.

"So you ready to party!" Calum said.

"It's just a small get together." Ashton laughed.

"Yeah whatever you call it."

I looked at Ashton. He smiled at me. I smiled slightly.

Ashton and Calum were talking through the whole car ride. I only looked out the window. I tried to listen to the radio but it was being drawn out by Ashton's conversation with Calum.

We arrived at the house. When we enter the house. I saw some familar faces. Ashton and Calum went to talk to there friends. I standed alone. No one would talk to me and I didn't know what to do. So I just sat in a chair listening to the music that was playing.

I don't know how long it has been. Everyone was still talking to one another. Ashton came up and brought me a drink. 

"What are you doing here?" He said with smile. "You need to talk to someone."

I just shrugged. Ashton held my hands. This reminded me when Liam held my hands before the science test started.

"Well come on." He pulled me up and walked me to meet people. I met a bunch of people. All them were nice and we had an awkward conversation. Ashton talked the most.

Ashton was talking to one of his friends when I realized we were holding hands. I let go of his hand. He didn't mind at all, he still kept talking to his friend. I walked away. As I went back to the chair, I heard my name being called.

"Hey Saige!" I turned to see who it was. It was Cassidy. She walked up to me with Perrie.

"Hey!" She said again.

I smiled. 

"I didn't know you were here. Are you having fun?" She's nice to ask.

I nodded.

"So any hot guys?" Perrie asked.

I shrugged with a blush. They both started to laugh. I had to laugh myself.

Ashton and Calum came over.

"Well hello." Ashton said.

Cassidy and Perrie said hi.

"Do you guys wanna play spin the bottle with us?" Calum asked.

What? I didn't know they would play this game here.

Perrie and Cassidy agreed. I nodded so I won't feel alone again.

We went to the basement to play. There were only two other boys playing. There names were Clark and Michael. There were also four other girls playing, I couldn't remember there names though. We all sat in a circle and Clark spinned the empty glass bottle of coca cola. Clark landed on a girl I didn't know. They kissed it almost looked like a make out session. Then Michael spinned and it landed on a different girl. They kissed and Calum spinned, it landed on Cassidy who sat next to me. Woo! Good thing it didn't land on me. Ashton's turn and it landed on the same girl Clark landed. He looked nervous as he leaned in for the kiss.

The game went on. Every guy kiss every girl except for me. Woo! I didn't want my first kiss to be like this. I know Liam kissed me but I don't think it counts. The bottle did land between me and Perrie one time but Perrie took the kiss.

It was Ashton turn. The bottle kept on spinning and spinning and I was shocked. It landed on me. He was sitting right next to me. We looked into each other's eyes. We both were nervous. Ashton looked more nervous compare to other time he kissed the other girl.

"Well kiss her already!" Michael said.

At the moment he said that Ashton's lips were on mine.
