Well, capt-america tagged me in this. I think it's a fun idea to do, actually.
1) What's your characters guilty pleasure song?
Bucky could spend all day, every day listening to 'Party like a Russian' by Robbie Williams. He seems to know every word and can even sing it all in Russian and Romanian too.
Sometimes he'll even catch himself singing '7 years' by Lukas Graham and 'Stitches' by Shaun Mendes. But 'Party like a Russian' will forever be his guilty pleasure.
2) Favourite fast food restaurant?
Definitely KFC. He loves the various types and flavours of the chicken.
3) Who was their first kiss?
There are many candidates for his first kiss. But he can't really remember who it was. All he knows is it was a dame from the forties that he took on a date with Steve.
4) Favourite sleeping position?
Bucky has a high tendency to sleep on his front with all limbs sprawled out in all directions like a starfish. He finds this most comfortable but will sometimes sleep curled on his left side.
5) Most prized possession?
It's a single small image of him and Steve before he was shipped off to the war. He had no idea how he managed to get hold of it but this image was originally in the Smithsonian. He somehow managed to slip it out.
6) Pick your poison.
Gun cleaning. He'll spend hours on end cleaning his guns, taking them apart and putting them back together. Sometimes this will even keep him up at night. He'll even clean his knives constantly. There'll be no finger prints on any of them.
Another is muttering sentences in Russian or Romanian when he means to speak English. He has a very bad habit of doing this. He'll start speaking English and then ever so slowly he'll into talking in either of those languages.
7) Favourite Quote?
He doesn't really have a favourite quote. All he can remember is Steve and his 'I'm just a kid from brooklyn'. That quote always sticks in his head because it's his way of keeping himself sane and it reminds himself where he came from. But the one that works the most? 'I'm with you 'till the end of the line'. It was that quote that saved him from the grasp of HYDRA and it's the one that gave him a new life.
8) Favourite sound and smell?
Sound: Bucky's favourite sound has to be the sound of utter silence. He's not one for loud noises after what happened to him. There are quiet sounds that he likes and that's perhaps clicks of his guns as he's cleaning them or the quiet whirrs of his own left arm.
Smell: The smell you get following a new book. He likes to read in his spare and alone time and he can't seem to get enough of that new book smell. He adores it and sometimes just gets a book to smell it and never read it.
9) Where do they retreat when they're sad or angry?
He has two places. One for when he's angry and another for when he's sad. When he's sad he'll retreat to his bedroom to read or spend some time with his puppy. Sometimes he'd do them together, with Bandit giving his arm the slightest lick from time to time as a way to make sure Bucky would be okay. When he's angry, however, he'd disappear for days on end. He'd usually go to a quiet pool or stream to help himself calm down. Or he'd head to a gym for a few hours to use the exercise as a way to channel that anger.
10) Favourite memory?
Bucky doesn't have many memories thanks to Hydra but there is one that would always stick out. It's not a particularly happy memory but it's the only one he can clearly think of. The memory is of Steve with a strain of bad flu. He thinks it was Tuberculosis since that was going around at the time. He remembers how he'd sat beside Steve's bed with a tight grip on his hand, begging him not to die. That, to Bucky, seemed to be where their 'till the end of the line' came from.
A happier but hazy memory that Bucky has will always be Coney Island. He loved going there with Steve whenever the could afford it but he can't remember details from it. He just remembered when they went and how smiley Steve would be while they were there but no conversations could be remembered and no actual scenarios either.
