Chapter Twenty- Six

Harry's POV

"Congratulations everyone! We did a great job!" I said to all nurses that helped me

The operation got successful, my sweats were flowing but I did what had to do

The patient was having a hard time to breathe, according to my multiple check ups for him, this patient's heart has a huge hole

An operation like this wasn't the first time for me. It took us 6 hours to work on this heart transplant

But seeing this 10 year old kid named, Max with a new heart is making me so happy

I know, Max is doing great jobs in his school. He was actually the first honor in their class but he wasn't able to attend school since last year cause he got hard time breathing

"Congrats Dr. Harry. You're so great." The nurses said

"We're all great. Because we all saves people's lives." I said as i smiled and then they smiled and clapped

After few hours, i visited Max's room. I saw him sitting on his bed, I saw him from the glass door, he was coloring something.

I opened the door and he got shocked

"Ohhh...Relax.." I said and laughed

"You scared me, Dr!" He said

I smiled as I stroked his wavy hair and then I looked at his work

"What is that?" I asked

"Oh! This is for you Dr.! You saved my life. You were my favorite doctor in this hospital and I was happy cause you were the one who saved me." He said as he handed me his drawing

In his drawing, I see myself with him. And it says

"I want to be like him someday!"

It made me smile and it melts my heart

I looked at him and hugged him

"You will be, Buddy. You will be.." I said and then I caress his head

Then I heard the door opened, It's Sandra

"Hi everyone!!" She said as she walked closer to us

"Oh hi, Dr. Sandra!" Max said and smiled

Then she gave Max a tender hug as she sat on the bed of Max

"I'm happy for you. Continue to be a good kid, Okay?" She said

"I will." Max said as he nodded his head

"Good Boy." Sandra said as she pinched softly his cheeks

"Okay go, take a rest now. Your new heart needs to rest." She said as she helped him lay on the bed and then she pulled the blanket

Sandra looked at me and smiled

"Congrats. You did a very great job." She said as she stood up

"Thank You." I said and smiled

She looked down and let out a deep sigh

"So...uhm, I wanted to say sorry for what I've said yesterday.." She said

"Forget about it. Let's just move on." I said and smile

"Good." She smiled

"So...Do you want to tell me where have you been and where did you sleep last night?" She asked and that made my heart beats so fast

How will I tell her? I know it's going to be a trouble If i will tell her the truth! And I will just put Jennifer on risk

I took a deep breath
