Baby problem! (A Nanatsu no Taizai fanfic)

2) Trouble children

"BAAAN! STOP DRINKING THE BOOZE!" King shouted at the baby as he giggles and drank the Bernia ale,
"Sir Meliodas, please stop taunting Ban!" Elizabeth calmly asked Meliodas as he mumbled things in baby gibberish to Ban
"Drink eht Bahn! Drink eht Bahn!" Meliodas taunted as Ban gulped down more booze,
"STOPP! BABIES SHOULD'NT DRINK ALE! IT'S LIKE POISON TO CHILDREN!" King bellowed, panicked. Ban stopped drinking and tossed the glass bottle in King's direction,
"I NO DIE ME CAN'T DIE KING," Ban scolded before blowing a childish raspberry at King.
If anyone told them raising these two would be easy, they were wrong. They didn't know who was worse. For the past hour Meliodas had been saying sexual things and knocking things over while Ban was being disobedient and taking what he wanted,
"Mewiodaz! Bad!" Ban slapped his captain on the back of the head,
"NU! BAHN BAD!" Meliodas screeched as he pushed Ban over,
"MEWIODAZ PUSH ME!" Ban whined as he pointed at Meliodas, who was sulking,
"Both of you say your sorry," Elizabeth calmly suggested,
"NU! BAN SAY SOWY MEL DID NO DO IT!" Meliodas yelled,
"MEWIODAZ LIEING," Ban screamed in response,
"BOTH OF YOU SIT IN A CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" King bellowed. He couldn't take this anymore,
"King, wasn't that a little harsh," Diane asked from outside as Elizabeth separated them into different corners of the room,
"I can't take this! They are both so troublesome!" King angrily stated, "When will Merlin find a damn cure?"

-Meanwhile in Merlin's makeshift research hall-

Merlin was research the different species of Chicken Montango,
"Hm? So there's a type that can turn any race whatsoever into babies," She stated before putting down the book and looking at baby Gowther, who was squinting up at her. She understood that he could barely see due to the absence of his glasses. She had learned that there isn't a cure, however the effect would ware off in three days. So she had to find some small clothes for them to last them for that period of time. Merlin scooped Gowther into her arms. He just continued to glare up at her, his golden eyes filled with curiosity. Merlin picked up his spectacles. She put them on his face, only for them to fall back off. She sighed as she picked up a piece of rope from a previous experiment and tied it to the ears of his glasses to keep them firmly on his face. He stopped squinting and looked around the room before looking back at Merlin,
"Aah?" He barely mumbled. His voice was much more soft and young. Merlin found it adorable as she always had a thing for babies from a different race. She cradled him,
"Still not emotional, I see," Merlin calmly asked as she cradled the silent baby. He didn't respond, "Let's go see the others, yeah?" The baby nodded before she teleported them back to the Boar Hat.

-The Boar Hat-
"MEWIODAZ CATCH!" Ban yelled as Merlin teleported into the room. He threw a beer bottle cap, which flew strait at King's forehead, making him growl in frustration,
"I did my research," Merlin stated as she placed Baby Gowther, who was looking around at his new surroundings, on a table
"HAVE YOU GOT THE CURE?" Diane yelled,
"It will ware off on its own," Merlin replied,
"Oh thank go-" King began
"In three days," Merlin added on,
"WHAT?" King and Diane yelled in union,
"They were most likely hit by a breed of the Chicken Montango that had spores that would transform any race into babies," Merlin explained, "The effects will ware off on its own,"
"BUT WE'RE STUCK WITH THEM FOR THAT LONG!" King bellowed as he looked down at the two snickering babies,
"It's only three days, I suggest you sew them each some fitting clothes King," Merlin suggested,
"IF I DO THAT DOES IT MEAN I MISS OUT ON TAKING CARE OF THEM WHILE I DO IT?" King asked,
"Yes," Merlin responded,
"I'LL START RIGHT AWAY!" King sighed in relief as he quickly bolted to his and adult Ban's shared room,
"Well, considering Gowther is no trouble, it's just me and you to take care of these demon children, no pun intended," Merlin informed Elizabeth as Meliodas and Ban both giggled childishly, "If you boys are good, I'll give you some chocolate," Merlin waved two bars of chocolate infront of them,
"Um Lady Merlin are babies aloud chocolate?" Elizabeth questioned,
"It'll just melt in there mouths, of course," Merlin responded. The two babies sat and smiled,
"Good boys!" She praised as she gave them both a bar,
"YAAAYY!" They happily yelled as they gnawed on their treats,
"Here's the plan for the next 3 days; we bribe them to be good with treats," Merlin grinned, making Elizabeth smile
