It'd been a couple of hours since King was sent upstairs to sew some baby clothes, meanwhile Merlin and Elizabeth were still caring for baby Meliodas, baby Ban and baby Gowther. Of course, Meliodas and Ban were still misbehaving. But there's nothing candy can't fix!
Gowther just sat on the table and stared at everything and everyone. Of course, Merlin would cradle and give him some love every once and a while. But the other two were such a handful, Gowther was often just left alone to observe things. Of course they felt bad about practically neglecting the baby, but they often wondered what he was thinking,
"Sir Ban! Please get off the table!" Elizabeth asked. It was for the baby's safety, although she knew he was immoral,
"But Gowthie's on tabel two..." Ban whined. Merlin sighed,
"That's because Gowther is a lot more quiet and less vulnerable to falling off the table than you two," She scooped Ban into her arms before gently lowering the baby to the ground. Gowther glanced at the two, hearing the mention of his name,
"Mewiodaz?" Ban called to his friend, who was across the room,
"Ya?" Meliodas replied,
"Let's pway game, ya?" Ban asked,
"Okway!" Meliodas responded, clapping his hands together,
"Gowthie pway?" Meliodas asked the pink-haired baby, who shook his head in response,
"Owhhhhh..." Ban sighed in disappointment, wanting Gowther to play,
"Gowther why don't you play with your friends," Merlin cooed as she scooped him into her arms, took a moment to think about it, then nodded before squirming in Merlin's arms to go play with his friends,
"Yaaaay!" Meliodas and Ban both cheered as Merlin gently lowered him to the ground. He crawled over to his friends who were both playing a game of tag,
"Nyaw! Look at them getting along!" Elizabeth said, smiling at the three,
"Look at them behaving!" Merlin remarked, grinning at the three who were innocently playing tag.
King floated down the stairs to the dining area of the Boar Hat,
"I made some baby-grows..." He sighed as he looked at the three,
"Oh my god, are they actually behaving?" Diane (who was talking to King through the window for the past hours) asked,
"Lady Merlin bribed them with sweets!" Elizabeth gleefully stated, making Diane giggle
-Time skip to when they have baby grows-
"Wow! Look at you three!" Diane (who had recently shrunk down in order to help) Stated.
Ban flexed his now non existent muscles. His baby suit was all red and fuzzy. King decided to not go into much detail with the suits due to the fact they'd only be used for 3 days.
Meliodas giggled, feeling his hands up and down the fuzzy yellow material his was made of.
Gowther stared down at his new outfit, stroking the pink material out of curiosity,
"So... What now?" Diane asked,
"I don't know," King replied,
"I suppose we should assign each baby to a person," Merlin suggested before cradling Gowther, "I pick Gowther,"
"NO WAY!" King yelled,
"YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE THE WELL BEHAVED ONE! THAT'S UNFAIR!" Diane also protested,
"You snooze, you loose," Merlin simply responded to their protests,
"Fine!" Diane groaned before picking up Meliodas, "I PICK THE SECOND BEST BEHAVED!"
"DIANE PLEASE!" King yelled,
"It'd be rude to make the princess have to work to take care of a hellish baby, King," Merlin stated while rocking Gowther,
"No no!" Elizabeth assured, "If Sir King doesn't want to..."
"Nono princess! I'll take care of Ban!" King assured Elizabeth,
"Then at least let me help you!" Elizabeth asked,
"It's fine, Princess Elizabeth. You shouldn't have to-" Merlin started,
"Please let me!" Elizabeth cut in, "I want to be of use to you!"
"Very well..." Merlin allowed, "Then you can be backup. You can come and help us if we need you,"
"Thank you, Lady Merlin,"
And so, the babysitting began!
