Part Five

Josh moved around and was shaking his bed, like he had a nightmare. He wasn't asleep, as he was staring at the blue-painted roof. He read the clock stuck to the wall.

2:30 am.

He was petrified about Josh, about Blurryface invading him. He looked at his hands. Black was rushing through his arms. He felt his neck. His face was like stone. He then ran to Josh's bathroom. He turned on the light, as black was on the light switch from his hands. His neck and arms were invading with black. He took off his shirt, with his tattoos showing. Black was almost through his body.

"No, no, no, not today! It can't be!"

Someone knocked on the door.

"You okay, Tyler?"

It was Josh.

"I can't tell him. He would have been terrified."

"Uh, yeah, just had to use it."

He wore his white t shirt, with the black shadowy goo showing translucently.

Josh opened the door. His shirt was off and had on his right arm a large tree tattoo with a background.

"Uh, Tyler?"

"Yes Josh?"

He hid his arms away, so Josh can't see the darkness of his arms.

"What are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing, honestly."

"Can I see your arms?"

"No!--", He backed away from Josh.

"I mean, you can't see..."

Josh was puzzled.

"Why?"

"Because... uh...it's private."

"Can at least see them?"

The anxiety in his head was asking questions that buzzed inside his head tenaciously.

"Okay, but don't panic."

He slowly showed Josh the black goo, now almost through his shoulders.

"Tyler, what is this?"

"It's, uh, the insecure shadow I was talking about two days ago."

Josh panicked quickly. He stared at him, worried.

"Uh..."

He ran to the door.

"Tyler!"

He ran to his dark hiding place.

"Josh cannot know, he cannot. I'm a monster. I don't belong anywhere, but here.

He took a first look at Josh's apartment.

"Goodbye, Josh", he whispered to himself.

He wore his black torn ski mask.
