I am Katniss Everdeen. I am the Mockingjay. My sister is dead. There is no more Hunger Games. I killed President Coin. Gale has moved on from me. I really love Peeta. I wish they would have just killed me.

I have been repeating these things in my head, but I still don't know why I am not dead. Ever since the rebellion I still feel like I owe everyone something. Now that I am not under the capitals rule I am missing something. Peeta.

I get out of bed not bothering to put my clothes on and I run through the mansion to Peeta. His warmth, feels like home. District 12. He is still sleeping, but I wake him up by laying next to him. "You ok?" whispers Peeta. "Just homesick and I don't know why I am not dead, I should be." He answers in a gentle voice, "Don't say that, we are free now." "But I killed Coin? I wish they would have just killed me!" I raise my voice.

I am so tired. I finally drift off and have the first peaceful sleep in a long time. I dreamed that we were in the new and improved District 12. It was Peeta and I and all our family members. There was Prim, my little duck and Peeta's dad, the one who promised to keep Prim healthy when I sacrificed myself to enter the games. We are all having a wonderful time and we are devouring amazing delicacies. Until I wake up.

I awake to Peeta as he is repeating my name in his soft voice. "You were singing the Valley Song." he said. That song. My dad sang that to me when I was young, Prim and I used to sing it during happy times, is sang it to her during rough times, and I sang it to Rue. I hear Peeta say my name again. "Sorry, I just don't know why?" I said "It was the first pleasant dream I have had in forever. It your family and mine in District 12."

Effie walked in the room wearing this ridiculous cherry pink dress that was covered in purple puff balls and frills. Her hair was at least a foot tall. "Breakfast!" she said cheerfully with a welcoming smile.
