Streams of sunlight shimmered through the thin openings of the shutters. A few of the streams striped over the two sleepers, accentuating their faces. The pair of eyes belonging to the younger flickered a few times before squinting at the eye-straining light cast over them.
Changkyun peered over his side to see Jooheon, soundly sleeping. He turned his entire body to face the older and just stared at his features. An aw escaped his lips when Jooheon seemed to be having a troubling dream. He brushed his hand against Jooheon's cheek and then continued to do so until he got bored which he solved by playing with a few stray strands of Jooheon's hair.
The pair of eyes resting on the older's face opened to the feeling of hairs being slightly pushed and pulled. "Changkyun..."
The boy of whose name was whispered took his hand away from Jooheon's head and sat up, followed by the elder. He looked down as heat rose to his cheeks.
"Sorry..."
"No, don't be." Jooheon assured, taking Changkyun's hand in his and bringing it up to his cheek.
The younger slid his hand down Jooheon's cheek and brought it back to his lap, getting a questioning look from him. "I- .... I'm gonna go take a shower..." He trailed off, pushing off the pull-out bed and slumping towards his room for a pair of clothes.
"O-okay I'll go get breakfast from downtown!" Jooheon yelled after him, then he grabbed his shoes at the front door, along with his jacket, wallet, and keys to Changkyun's apartment.

As he was walking along the breezy street, Jooheon fell deep into his thoughts about what felt like happened only a few minutes earlier. He continued staring at his feet until he bumped into a tall figure.
He looked up to say sorry and instantly recognized the lean boy of which he hasn't seen in a while...
"Hyungwon? What are you doing here?" Jooheon looked at the elder, waiting for a response.
Hyungwon mumbled something that sounded like a "... of all the people I had to run into..." But then again Jooheon wasn't sure so he asked him to repeat.
He looked down at his shoes and instead of repeating what he had previously said, he repeated the younger's question from before.
"So um what are you doing here?"
Jooheon dismissed what his friend had just done and answered the question calmly, as if nothing had happened. "I'm here to get breakfast for Changkyun and I since neither of us can cook shit."
Hyungwon hummed in response. Typical Jooheon. Typical Changkyun. Typical friends.
Bringing him back to reality Jooheon brought forth the matter of needing to go in the least awkward way he could. "Hyungwon, do you want to come to the café with me, we can talk more on the way there and get some coffee?"
"Hmmm..." Hyungwon pondered the thought of reminiscing with one of his best friends but then remembered he had to go to the hospital. There was only one reason; he just wanted to see him. "Yeah sorry gonna have to pass, I gotta go to the hospital."
"Oh okay- wait is someone hurt? Why are you going to the hospital??" Jooheon asked, pushing his hands deeper into the fleece-lined pockets of his jacket.
"Nope, just going to visit a friend~" Without saying goodbye, he turned on his heels and almost -- skipped(?) in his steps.
Well he sure looks and sounds happy.. I wonder if he finally got over Hoseok... He thought and thought until he decided to drop it and get breakfast from the acquired café.
