It was dark. Pitch black. I hated the dark. Where was the light? Is that... a light?
A blood red moon rose in the night sky, looking bigger than a regular moon. The palace shone in front of it, basking it in an eery red light. Dead bodies scattered the palace grounds in front of the throne room. I was standing in the middle of it all, looking up at the man in front of the throne room. His back was facing me, and he was wearing the headpiece of the king. His robes were entirely black with gold markings, and his hair was pinned up into a bun. His frame looked so familiar...
The man went to turn to me, but I felt a sharp pain stab through my abdomen. I let out a cough as blood dripped down my mouth, looking down to see a sword impaled through my stomach. A cry went out as blood started to soak my robes, and I fell to my knees. I looked up to try to see the mans face, I only needed to see the mans face...
Then everything went black.

"Hyunbin...Hyunbin! Wake up!" Someone exclaimed, and I opened my eyes with a jump. I gulped down a deep breath as I shot up in bed, looking around my room. Hae Soo was above me with a panicked look, Lady Hae behind her looking worried. Wook stood in the doorway with wide eyes, looking as if he was about to run into my room. I breathed heavily, gripping the bedsheets to calm my shaking arms. What was that about?"Princess, are you okay?" Hae Soo asked worridely, scanning my face for anything.
"I am...alright. I just had a nightmare." I said shakily, touching my abdomen. It was intact, and completely fine. I rubbed a hand over my face, feeling tears on my cheeks. "Was I...crying?" I muttered.
"You were screaming in your sleep. We were worried." Lady Hae said, coughing slightly.
"Please, I'm fine. You know stress is bad for your health, Lady Hae. Please, rest up." I scolded lightly. She smiled and laughed.
"You two give me the most stress." she teased.
"Please, that makes me want to cry." I joked with a small smile, pulling the covers closer to my body. "It was just a little nightmare. There's nothing to worry about. Please, relax and don't worry about me.." I said, turning to them and smiling.
"Alright. Do you need anything? I can get Chae Ryung to take it to your room." Hae Soo worried. I waved my hand, laughing lightly.
"No, I'm alright. Chae Ryung is busy enough as it is. Go, go, I will be fine." I said. I watched them leave one by one, Wook glancing back one more time and closing the door. I sighed heavily and flopped back down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. I have no clue what that dream was about. Was it just a regular nightmare? It seemed so specific though...
I shot up again, jumping out of bed. "Shoot, I forgot about Baek-Ah!" I exclaimed, hurriedly getting changed. God, there were so many layers! I opened my door and rushed through, going past Wook's little office and main room. Wook raised en eyebrow, catching my elbow as I rushed by.
"And where are you going?" He asked.
"I have to meet with Prince Baek-Ah, he had something he wanted to discuss with me. He's waiting for me outside." I huffed.
Wook frowned, his grip seemed to get tighter. "You are meeting alone with him?" He asked. I frowned and turned to him fully.
"Yes...I imagine so. Is that so wrong?" I asked. He swallowed and turned his head away from me, looking somewhere else.
"Just...be careful. I do not want a repeat of yesterday. I will not be there to protect you." Wook murmured. I smiled at his concern, touching his cheek lightly.
