Louis' POV

I sat in the driver's seat. Niall was in the back, and Harry was next to me in the passenger's seat. Liam and Danielle were in another car. Alone. Which I thought was a bit dangerous. God knows what they'll get up to when I'm not there to control them...

Anyway, I was feeling happy. I had been excited to meet Dani's friend, she'd said a lot about her and I had been genuinely looking forward to find out if all the things Dani had said were true. I was happy, because they were.

We seemed to have a lot in common, I mean we both like carrots, which is great, and we got on well, she laughed at my jokes, she seemed really nice. I -

"What you thinking about Lou?" Harry asked, curiously, interrupting my thoughts. I'd forgotten I wasn't alone in the car..

"Hmm? Oh, nothing really."

"Well it mustve been something, you were smiling like a loon!" Niall chuckled.

"..You like her, don't you?" Harry smiled, his cheeky grin spreading wider at every word.

"Like who?" I said, maybe a bit too defensively.

"I knew it!" Harry exclaimed, I raised an eyebrow at him. "Don't try and hide it Louis Tomlinson, I know you too well! You.Like.Her."

"I don't know who or what you mean." I said, concentrating on Mabel's car in front.

"Oh yes you do."

"Ok, why do you think that? Tell me." I said, sure I was going to win this.

"You were quiet most of the time we were with her, because you were so busy staring at her, when you did talk to her you were flirting like mad, and you practically invited yourself round her house!"

Damn.. Was I really that easy to read?

"Well, I like her, but I don't fancy her, if that's what you mean."

"You know that's what I mean, and you do. You might not know it, but you do. Just you wait."

I thought about what he said. Maybe he was right? No, of course not, don't be ridiculous Louis Tomlinson. You've just met her. You're just excited to meet a new person, that's all. Nothing more.

Nothing more.

"Haz, you're the only one for me." I said. He looked at me, and I winked.

"And you for me, Lou." he grinned.

"Eyes on the road!" Niall exclaimed, and I laughed.

We continued to follow Mabel's car in silence. Not an awkward silence, a happy one. I looked back on the day - it was a good day. I'd met someone new and we'd got on well; I liked her. In a friendly way, obviously, I just really hoped she liked me, too.

I saw in the corner of my eye, Harry staring at me, eyes narrowed, like he's trying to read my thought process. I looked into his eyes and smiled. His lips curled slightly and suddenly he burst out laughing.

I stared at him, confused. I looked round to find Niall, who looked equally as confused as I did.

"What's up with you, Harry?" I asked.

He abruptly stopped laughing, sat up straight and replied, "Nothing." He shrugged his shoulders casually.

Now I was confused. "Harry, it's Niall that bursts out laughing for no reason, not you. What was so funny?"

Harry grinned, let out a small chuckle, and simply said, "Your face."

I let my jaw drop into an 'o' shape. I let out a dramatic gasp. I went to say something, but decided it best not to and turned to look at the road, with a scowl on my face. Harry laughed quietly again, but I ignored him.

"How are you, Niall?" I asked, peering into the rear view mirror.

"Hungry." he replied, simply. I nodded, this was nothing new with Niall I suddenly noticed Mabel pull into a driveway. I jumped, holding my breath, quickly turning my car at the same rate she did, and driving into the space next to her car. I let out the breath as I stopped the engine. We'd arrived.
