The Battle

(Laisha's P.O.V)

We landed on a place where we met Dreyfus.
"So you're safe Dreyfus."- Hendrickson.
"Lady Elizabeth, Lady Laisha, please step back." He said to us.
"Eh?"-I and Elizabeth. I went in front of Elizabeth for protection, in case if something will happen.

" What are you doing?"- Hendrickson.
"Hendrickson, for letting you become like this, and throwing the kingdom into chaos, everything is my responsibility. Then, for me to set things straight is the least I can do for my for my atonement."-Dreyfus.
" Do you seriously think you can stop me?"- Hendrickson.
"You must be stopped at all costs, as a holy knight of the kingdom, and as your friend!"-Dreyfus. He attacked Hendrickson and they began fighting. After a few minutes, Dreyfus used his ability, 'Pierce'. Hendrickson got a big hole on the side of his stomach but he regenerated and jumped high then used 'Acid down' on Dreyfus.

"Great Holy Knight Dreyfus!" Elizabeth yelled.
I just keep silent. I need not to worry.
He's figure was visible as he walked out of the purple mist.

"Have you forgotten, Hendrickson? As my will dictates, this flesh will not rust, decay or rot! Not even an ability such as yours."- Dreyfus.
"As expected, Dreyfus."-Hendrickson.
What?!

"That's why its such a shame. I would have liked us to be friends forever."-Hendrickson
" That regeneration power and the strange appearance, as well as a beyond normal understanding. How you've fallen, Hendrickson?"- Dreyfus.
He attacked Hendrickson once again using his ability.
"Starstream Breaker Blade!" He yelled.
"The way I see it, humans are the ones that are crawling on the grounds like worm."-Hendrickson.

Dreyfus's power is too strong that it included me and Elizabeth to get hurt too. But, I have the most damage at my back and Elizabeth got hit at the side of the stomach since I was covering her but still! I failed to protect her, We fell down.
Elizabeth and my blood scattered around.
I reached out my hand to Elizabeth.
" E-elizabeth." I called.
"I'm sorry." I sobbed.

When the dust cleared I heard Dreyfus ask.
"Did I get him?" He looked at us.
"Lady Elizabeth! Lady Laisha!" He shouted
He covered each of our wound by a handkerchief but the blood won't stop.
"At this rate....?!" He gasped.

"How terribly unfortunate. I need to take them before the blood runs dry."-Hendrickson.
" H-how.....dare....y-you!" I want to get up and fight him but the pain is too much.

"This is the end, Hendrickson!"-Dreyfus.
" Indeed, this is truly the end." Dreyfus stood up then punched Hendrickson on the cheek, but Hendrickson wasn't damaged or something. He just stood there without feeling any pain.
"With all your majic power used up, you have no chance of winning. It was fun while it lasted, Dreyfus." Dreyfus punched him again on the other side of his cheek.
"Accept your loss. I don't want to kill you. You were my mentor, my friend, and my rival. Truly regrettable." Hendrickson put his hand to Dreyfus's stomach.
"Acid Down. I'll at least give you a quick and painless death." He said as Dreyfus turns to ash, leaving his armor.

"No!"
"How could you, Hendrickson! How dare you!" I yelled at him.

Then Hawk with Meliodas on his back came.
"Meliodas." I murmured.

He got off Hawk's back then looked around.
"Dreyfus." He murmured.
He turned to us.

"Elizabeth! Laisha!" Hawk yelled.
I stood up. I don't want my brother to see me weak. I want to fight Hendrickson.

Meliodas walked closer and so did Hendrickson to Meliodas.
"I'm a Druid, a Sage of the Forest. We revere the nature and the Goddesses, and shun the Demons. When I first met you, I could vaguely sense it, the malevolent and massive power pulsating inside of you! I took interest in you, and admired you. However, now I've obtained the same power as yours!"- Hendrickson.
