"So what do you want to listen to?" tanner asks me after a few minutes of comfortable silence.

"How about some Imagine Drangons?" I respond.

"Well then, you get the aux." he says as he passes me the aux. Now this is what I call an opportunity. I open Spotify, and I look for the most hardcore, loud song I can find. Well, I don't want to scare him off, do I? So definitely not Bring Me The Horizon's first three albums.. Chasing Rainbows, the beginning always catches them off guard.

"Okay this isn't Imagine dragons but it's still as good." I look at him and he raises an eyebrow.

"Don't scare me." he looks at me and grins. I laugh. As it starts playing, it seems that tanner likes it. "What band is this? I should start listening to them."

"Bring Me The Horizon." I answer, he nods. We continue driving to my house, and when we pull into the driveway. My dad, whos a mechanic, is working on my moms car. "Hi dad!" he looks at tanner and gives me a questionable look. "Oh, dad, this is tanner, tanner, this is my dad."

"Nice to meet you, sir." tanner says.

"I thought John was your boyfriend?" my dad asks me. I laugh.

"He is, tanner is just my friend." I look at tanner, and he is forcing a laugh. Why's that? Whatever just get the stuff and go. "So I was going to stay over at tanner's tonight, we just came over here to get some clothes and my toothbrush." My dad nods and gets back to work. We walk inside, and my mom is watching chopped. "Hi mom." I say.

"I heard your conversation with your dad, just get your stuff." my mom says in a nice tone. A/N-I was too lazy to write more dialogue just then ahaha

We walk downstairs, where my bedroom is.

"You live in the basement, too?" tanner chuckles.

"I guess so," I laugh, "We recently did our basement and I decided to move into one of the empty rooms for more space." My basement used to have one light a room and a cement wall and floor, but we got someone to make it into a liveable space.

"Okay so I'll just get my pajamas and my toothbrush." I say as I gather my stuff.

"So I didn't know you had a boyfriend." I look at tanner and he raised an eyebrow.

"I thought everyone in school knew. We walk through the hall holding hands, we post couple pics to Instagram, cheesy, I know, and we've been dating sine 8th grade." I chuckle.

"Oh, that's right, I guess I forgot, we just have so much schoolwork and I have to make videos. Shoot I haven't posted in like four days." he yells the last part.

"But you snapchat." I say. He hums and we walk back upstairs.

"Well I'll see you guys later." I say to my mom and dad. We get into tanner's car, and I get to use the aux cord again. I play Panic! at the Disco.

We talked about random stuff on the drive to his house. We walked inside, and I was attacked by a puppy.

"Rose, no biting." tanner picked the pupper up, "Sorry, she's prone to bite people." I laugh.

"It's fine, I have a cat that acts like a dog," I say as I pet Rose, "Cat scratches are actually the worst. And when she brings in rodents that run around, it's hell to get 'em out. Basically, I'm saying that I don't like cats that much. And I also tend to share a lot of information that was not needed."

"That's alright, I do that all the time in my vlogs. I just edit it out." Tanner admits. Where is everyone?

"By the way, where's the rest of your family?" I ask Tanner.
