Fast forward two months
Kate,,,

I've become the best of friends with Tanner, Quentin, and Dylan in the past two months. Sara told me that I'm hanging out with them so much that me and my old friends barely talk anymore. But, what I don't understand about that is when I did hang out with them, they barely payed attention to me, but the boys do. Anyway, my mom told me yesterday that her company was relocating to Augusta, Kansas next month. The company would help us pay for a new house there, since they were making us move. (This probably wouldn't happen irl but whatever this is my story I do what I want lol) I invited all my friends, including the old ones, over to my house after school today to tell them. Wait, since Tanner, Quentin, and Dylan's moms work for the same company as mine, doesn't that mean that they have to move too? Whatever I'll find out later. My mom suggested that I do this, and there's gonna be food and games, so it's basically like a going away party for me.

Currently, I'm outside my house waiting for the bus to come pick me up. Once it comes, I walk on and sit in my usual seat. I plug in my earbuds and wait for Quentin's stop, as we're on the same route. After about seven minutes, the bus stops and Quentin walks on and sits next to me.

"Hey, muscle boy." I say as I take my earbuds out.

"Good morning to you too." Quentin smirks. It takes about twenty minutes to get to school after Quentin gets on, as he's usually the fifth person on, while I'm the first. We don't even talk most of the time, as we know basically everything about each other. I think I know him better than I know Tanner and Dylan.

"I only got one hour of sleep last night," I said. "how the fuck did I manage that?"

"According to your Twitter, looking at memes." Quentin said as he showed me his phone.

"Oh yeah, that's what I did," I chuckled. "I'm never doing that again." I yawned. My eyelids became heavy. I started to doze off.

Kate fell asleep on the bus. Her head was resting against my shoulder. She really needs to get more sleep.

Tanner told me something the other day. He likes Kate. Since I met Kate, I always thought she and Tanner would go good together. The only problem is that Tanner, Dylan, and I are moving to Kansas. But I'm sure we can do something about it.

It was gym, aka last period of the day. My friends were going on the bus with me, mainly because I said it would save gas. Today we weren't doing anything, for some reason, so we were all sitting on the bleachers. I was sitting with Tanner, Quentin, and Dylan, with my other friends in front of us.

"So all of you can come, right?" I ask everyone. They all nodded their head. "Alright."

"So it's basically a party?" My friend, Penni asked. I nodded. John was sitting on the other side of the bleachers. He's been getting distant lately, and I don't know why. I found out that he was busy today, so he couldn't come to my house.

"Hey the bells about to ring," Dylan points out.

"Guess it is," I say as I grab my backpack. "Remember you're coming on my bus today." I remind everyone. Only seven people were coming, as I haven't talked to a lot of my old friends since I became friends with Tanner, Quentin, and Dylan. The bell rang and we all walked to the buses. I directed my friends to which bus was mine. We walked on, to the back of the bus. It was Friday, so the bus was basically empty except for a few people. The entire time, we talked about school.

Once we all got to my house, we went into the tv room in the basement. I gathered everyone's attention. "Okay guys. I should say this now. My mom's company is moving us to Kansas. That means that I'll be leaving you guys." I heard a mixture of sad sighs and happy screams.

"Kate, remember how our moms work in the same company?" Tanner points to Quentin and Dylan. "Well we're also moving!" I gasped, an ran over to hug all three of them.

"This is awesome." I say. We hung around my house for the next five hours. I ordered pizza, and put in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone into the tv. After we watched that, my old friends had to leave. The bleach boys stayed over, for a sleepover, like we have all the time.

"Hey wanna know what my mom thinks about me being friends with all of you?" I ask them. "She probably thinks I'm a slut." We all burst out laughing.

"Wanna know what my mom thinks of me?" Quentin said in his teddy bear voice. "Nothing because I bring girls home all the time." We all laugh even harder. We keep talking like this until we get too tired. For some reason, we all go to sleep spooning each other, me in the middle. Best night ever.
