CALYPSO III

I got up feeling especially unmotivated today. I didn't go and keep myself busy I sat by Leo's camp. it still smelled like smoke and oil. Like him. I glanced at the beach it's beautiful sand and water. I hate it. I hate this place and every thing about it. I thought I liked it... it's my home, but I don't I hate it. I want to leave.

I thought above what Leo said about coming back for me and looked at the clear blue sky. Lets hope he wasn't lying because if I'm leaving with anybody... it's him.

LEO IV

After days of traveling he stopped in Malta. It was easy to get places with a giant, fire breathing dragon. I looked off at the clear water.

"Can I help you, child?" someone asked. I turned quickly to see a girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and perfect features. She look in her 20's but I knew she wasn't.

"No Aphrodite...I'm fine." I mumbled sitting down. I wasn't fine. my heart hurt like when my mom died. but this was sorta of a different hurt.

Aphrodite laughed lightly "Oh child we both know your not fine. your heart is broken an you miss her dearly. My child Cupid is never fair. always makes things difficult. but I know you can do it." she smiled sitting next to him "love is never fair. not to anyone. but in the end only you can make it right."

"Aph-" I was about to say but she disappeared only leaving behind the smell of sweet purfume.

I looked at the night sky until I fell asleep.

PIPER V

"Leo?" I said knocking on the door. lately he had been said but she finally figured out why. He was heart broken. as the child of Aphrodite it's a talent.
"Leooooo?" she called and knocked harder. the door swung open with her knock.

She stepped in and saw a piece of paper on a work bench. it read this:


"Who ever reads,

Sorry I'm not here right now. I'm off on my own mission. When we were off defeating Gaea I met a trapped goddess named calypso."

"Oh gods Leo" I said to my self and continued.

"and I fell in love. I know what you're thinking 'wow Leo Valdez is the stupid kid that fell I love with the goddess that can never be found twice.' Well I don't care I promised that I would go back for her and I will! I'm sorry. I rebuilt Festus and I will find her. I'll be back soon. hopefully. bye. ~Leo "

I stuffed the note in my pocket and ran. Jason's going to be so mad.
