LEO XXVIII

I looked at a picture of Esperanza who died so many years ago.

"She was a hero you know...just like her father." Calypso said coming from behind placing a delicate hand on my shoulder. "happy 100th by the way darling."

I looked back at her and smiled. the shop bell rung. "oh. A visitor."

"Hello?" said a frightened voice.

"No need to be scared!" I said walking into the shops main room. "WELCOME! I'm Leo!"

"And I'm Calypso! are you a Demi-god?" she asked so sweetly showing that we were friends. we had to do this a lot with demi-gods. after fighting so many monsters anyone could be a threat.

"Yes..." said the demi-god. She was about 13 with blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes "I've heard of Calypso...aren't you supposed to be on a magical island?"

Calypso laughed and rolled her eyes. "yes I was but my dear here rescued me!"

"I've heard of Leo the lion. and your not an lion..."

I laughed too "ah yes...I'm only 100 today. So young but I am a new god. you won't find me in your history books...I saved the world you know...but before I begin my story. Calypso? get the poor girls some food please?"

"Oh yes!" calypso said and hurried into the kitchen.

"And what's your name?" I asked. the girl jumped.

"Uhh...emily." she said.

"Well Emily let me see your sword and I'll sharpen it for you well I tell my story." she handed me her sword and I began. using my fire to his a few ruff spots.

"Sorry to 'butt in' my lord..."

"Don't call me that."

"Sorry but what are you the god of?"

"Fire. I was a demi-god you know! son of Hephaestus! blessed with fire...not a good blessing in my opinion..." and I continued my story and Calypso brought out food. then we showed her to her room.

"Do you think she likes the room? is the bed comfy enough..." Leo said. as they climbed into bed.

Calypso shushed him "yes Leo it's fine you ask this every time and every time it's yes. now go to sleep."

"Goodnight" I said "I love you..."

"I love you too Leo..." and I drifted off.

Sorry it's short sunshines second to last part by the way. I already wrote the last part before this I just needed something to tie it together and please don't hate me...you'll see why...
