I woke up screaming. Not that I had a nightmare. I just realized something dreadful.

I didn't tell them. Gods I...maybe I couldn't tell them. How do you tell your best friends I get to watch you die because I'll be a god! lol noobs!

"Are you okay Leo?" Calypso's voice calmed me down.

"No...I didn't tell them...I mean how do you tell someone that?" by her silence I knew she got what I meant.

"Well. You tell them when the time is right. That will be the best thing to do." she grabbed my arm. I couldn't see her in the dark but I knew she was there with me. Her being there soothed her more than words.

"Ok." I said grabbing her hand "yea...that sounds like the right thing." she kissed me. how she found my mouth in the dark was a miracle but I don't care. I just kissed her. glad she was there.

I knew today was the day. I had to tell them today or never. Today is my 25 birthday.

In these last few years our shop dreams came true with all the portals set up it was wonderful. Another happened to. We had a child. The first and only Demi-god of Calypso.

Esperanza (our 5 year old daughter) ran in "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!" she jumped into my arms. I've come to terms that yes I will watch her and all my friends die. But all gods watch their children die. I decided not to think about it enjoy it while she is here. she looks like her mom beside that she has my color skin and black hair. little like I was. She knows she's a demigod but we don't talk about it. she also knows what happens today. She is strong.

"Are you going to tell them?" she asks. I chuckle looking down at my self. I had grown a lot. I was going to look like forever.

"Yes mjio." I said looking at her "lets not talk about it now ok?" she furrowed her small eyebrows and sighed

"Yes daddy..." the shop bell rung.

"They are here."
