( ISABELLA AND DAD)
" Come on we need to go if we are going."
" I'm coming dad I just had to get my angel costume for the kids."
" Are you going to wear that for them?" Dad asked me closing the front door.
" Yes it is close to Christmas and I thought that it would be nice to wear for them."
" Well I think it is a good idea. It should make the children happy." Daddy said
I was happy to do this for the Children's Hospital. I liked to help out as much as I could. It was a fund raiser for the kids that had bad burns from house fires or even cancer and other things. A lot of these kids have read my books. Since I try to supply the hospital with some of my books. Since mom had died with cancer I came here to help with other people who have it. I wrote books since I was little with my mom and she helped me to publish them. I had a special talent with words when I was little. Mom also wrote books and when she had seen how good they were she asked her publisher to look at them. I was signed on right away. This is my job. I love to write.
When I was little I wrote stories about my imaginary friend and some helpful squirrels. I wrote all kinds of books and as I grew so did they. I would write about my school and put it all in to make believe and the more I wrote the more people wanted them. Mom died and the books changed too. They showed how you can still love with only one parent there. My books touched home to some. When that happened I wrote a story of My Mothers Love. It was a big hit for young and old. Dad and I lived small because we both did not want to bring any attention to ourselves. We moved to another city six months after she was gone and bought the house we live in now. We wanted to start fresh. The hospital that we are going to is the one next to where moms last days were. The Hospital had a children's and adult wings. I went to help with the fund raiser a lot of people are going to be there.
( ISABELLA AT HOSPITAL)
" Hello my special friends." I said as I walked into the room with all the children
" Hi." They said back to me. Some were in wheelchairs some sat with their parents. I sat down on the tall stool and looked over at the children. I pulled out my book and read them a story. Later on I played a game with them. I did not have on my mask so that way I could put on a blind fold to play a game of Marco - polo with them. We all laughed and played little games like this. But to soon it was time to go. I was just one of the many actor's and actress's there. But I loved to play with the children before I left. We had raised a lot of money this year and I was very pleased. We left to go home later that night.
( LATER THAT NIGHT AT STEVE'S HOUSE)
" Hey mom what are you watching?" Steve asked as he walked into the living room.
" The news. The had a fund raiser at the Children's Hospital in the state next to us. I wanted to see how well it went with the fund raiser." she said as he sat down with her.
(NEWS GUY)
" News channel eight here with some of the clips here. The Children's Hospital had a great year for their fund raiser. They raised over two hundred thousands dollars tonight. We have clips of some of them playing with the children."
A picture showed up on the screen of a young woman in a white dress with purple wings and scarf tied around her face as she walked around the room arms reaching out in front of her. She was laughing and trying to find the children who laughed as she came within reach of her. She had long and I mean long brown hair that hung to her hips. She had a huge smile on her face as she finally caught one on the kids laughing to hard to run away. She pulled off the purple scarf and looked at the little boy in her arms and smiled at him. He was burned on one side of his face. I could not see it all. Because my attention was on the woman. That was Isabella I knew it. It was the same dress and the scarf. But her hair was brown not blond. But the cameraman did a close up on her face when she smiled at the little boy and I could see her dark green eyes. I knew that is was my Isabella.
