a zelink love story

chapter 3

After searching all day they have found nothing. So for now they meet back up at the castle. When they arrive impa is standing there waiting with a hopeful look ,but when she sees link alone frowning she also frowns.

"So your search was unsuccessful as well as ours huh?" links frown only grows. "I'm afraid so we searched everywhere...but not a trace." Impa sighs

"well let us rest for the night and we shall continue this search tomorrow come link I will show you where you can stay" link nods and follows impa not saying another word until they get to the room.

"Thank you impa see you first thing tomorrow." Impa nods "yes you will now you try and get some rest" and with that she walks off.

When he shuts the door he hears a familiar voice. "Hey dweive how you holding up?" link is shocked by this voice. After all it's been awhile since he's heard it.

"Minda!?" She giggles "the one and only!" He sighs "I haven't heard from you in like a year ,but to awnser your question not well at all he took her from me again!" He punches the wall and she sighs. "Yeah I know I saw the whole thing"

Link pause's a sec before speaking again with a smile. "Wait if you seen the whole thing then you know where Zelda's at!" She sighs "not exactly." Link's smile fades at these words. "What do you mean not exactly? I thought you said you watched the whole thing!"

" well I was watching the whole thing yes ,but right as they popped up some where ganondorf some how blocked my magic"

"Wait but you did see part of the place" he asks with hope feeling his voice. "Yea but I don't think it'll be much help. Anyways I'll tell you about it in the morning for now you really should get some sleep"

Link nods knowing there's no use in arguing with her. So he gets ready and goes to sleep. While he is sleeping through he begins to dream of his princess.

She sitting in a cold dungeon alone and scared. He sees her and starts trying to run to her. The hallway he's in seems to keep getting longer. All he can hear is her calling his name.

"Link! Please save me link!" Then a monster appears with his sword ready to strike her! "I'm coming Zelda just hang on!" Right before he reaches her though the monster stabs her!

He can hear her scream his name one last time before her body goes limp. "Noooo! Zelda!!!!! He falls to his knees crying. He starts to hear ganondorf laughing ,but all he can do is cry for his precious princess.

Then he shoots up in his bed screaming her name one last time! Tears still coming from his eyes he looks around to relize it was only a dream.

He quickly wipes the tears away and gets out of bed. He begins getting ready to start this new day. "Just hold on Zelda I will find you somehow I promise."

"Hey sleepy head you ready to start your day?" Link sighs "yeah I just wish there was some way you could be here to help. It would help having someone who even partially knew where to look. Seeing how the mirror is shattered I don't guess that's possible."

"Well me being there wouldn't be much help considering she's no longer even in hyrule" she sighs. "You mean to tell me he took zelda to the twilight realm!"

"Yes that place I saw was definitely part of the twilight realm" link starts to panic "this is not good a light dweller like zel can only last for so long in the darkness of twilight! Come on midna there has to be another way to get in there!"

"Well there is one way but no other twili who has tried it succeeded and if I fail you could get trapped between our two dimensions." Link makes a fist with his hand. "At this point I am willing to try anything."

"Link are you absolutely sure that you want to try this" he could hear the worry in her voice but he had to try. He had to get zelda out of there no matter what the risks. "Yes I am sure."

"Ok well then here goes nothing" everything is quite for a bit until a portal all of a sudden pops up in front of him. "Don't just stand there come on! I can't hold this open all day!"

With that he quickly goes through the portal. He appears in the twilight realm and sees midna. He runs to her and hugs her. "Man it's great to see you again!"

She kinda laughs and Pat's his back. "I missed you two. Now is not the time though after all we've got a princess to find!" He lets go of her "right considering I can't change forms anymore I won't last long in here either."

"Well we'll have to fix that won't we. After all I can't just keep making portals. So you will have to stay in this realm till we find your princess."

"Wait so you can give me that ability again?" Midna nods. "Well what are we waiting for!?" Midna sighs and mumbles "maybe for you to get some patience"

Link watches as she does something with magic then a bracelet appears. "Here with this you will be able to switch from your wolf form to your hilyan form" she hands it to him and he puts it on.

"Thanks midna your the best!" She roles her eyes "yeah yeah now quit your yapping and let's go find Zelda press the blue button to change to your wolf form"

"Ok" he takes and presses the blue button. Only seconds later he's in his wolf form again. Then midna snaps her fingers and turns into her imp self. She takes her place on links back and they take off beginning there search of the twilight realm for Zelda.
