Percy's POV
I pulled up to the front of Goode High in my sea-green ocean blue Maserati Spyder. Everyone is looking at me in awe and shock like they couldn't believe that it was actually me. Anyway, I walked through the entry doors to the office to get my schedule since I missed part of the year as well as the 8 months I've been asleep because of the queen of co- I mean Hera. (Good gods, I don't know how you people do this!!) After I got my schedule, I walked to my step-father Paul's classroom and saw my mortal friends in a corner with the desks pushed together. Grayson lifted up his head and looked in my direction. I swear to all the gods, I thought his eyes would pop out his head then explode by how wide they are.
"PERSEUS JACKSON!!!! Where the hell have you been!!" He shouted.
Well that got the attention of everyone on campus. I thought.
Turns out, I wasn't that far from the truth; only the people in the classroom heard and all heads turned towards me. Greyson stalked towards me looking a little pissed.
"Well?" He demanded.
"I was dealing with a problem with my family in Greece." I responded. "It was getting a bit messy."
He nodded, accepting my answer.
Dong. Dong. Dong. Dong. Dong. Dong.
Well that's the bell. I took my seat near the back of the classroom and kinda started to zone out as Paul began his lesson. I zoned back in just as the PA crackled on the ceiling.
Attention all students and staff. Please head to the gym for an assembly in 5 minutes. Please head to the gym for an assembly in 5 minutes. Thank you.
Something seemed off about the announcement. The principal seemed both in a trance and scared at the same time. Oh no, I don't have a good feeling about this. Pushing aside the bad feeling I followed the rest of the class to the gym. As we entered the gym, I saw 14 thrones on the podium. I groaned internally because I was supposed to be at school like a normal teenager. Or at least as normal as a demigod can get. We took our seats on the bleachers and just waited, murmurs echoing in the auditorium. Everyone else was wondering what is going on. Typical of Drama Queen *thunders* to make a dramatic entrance. After about 5 hours of waiting (30 minutes) a bright white light filled the gym. When the light died and my vision returned, even though my eyes were closed, the gods appeared sitting on their thrones. Athena got up and walked to the front of the podium where a microphone sat, tapped it, and began to speak.
"Now you probably have no idea what is going on here, but by the decree of the Fates we must read a book that tells of what happened after the Giant War."
"Now, before we begin the reading, we must bring some demigods here." Zeus interrupts.
Suddenly, the Fates showed up.
"Perseus Jackson," they said in unison. "We are bringing another version of you here and because of that, you cannot be here. Remember, time here will be frozen until you finish the book."
Well great. I thought.
Third Person POV
Percy vanished with a flash and in his place stood a much taller, stronger, more intimidating version of the Percy that Goode High knew. A chair appeared among the gods for the new Percy, in which he filled. Zeus cleared his throat and snapped his fingers. The rest of the Seven, Nico, the Stolls, Katie, Clarisse, Chris, the Amazons, Camp Jupiter, Camp Half-Blood, Thalia and the rest of the hunt appeared sitting on couches. After everyone introduced themselves to Goode, a book appeared on Athena's lap that read Everlasting Promises. She cleared her throat and opened the book.
