Percy

I took a pause from cutting down monsters and took a swing of nectar from the canteen. So far, me, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Thalia and the hunters had managed to wipe out most of the monster army that had gathered at the base of Mt. Olympus.

"Wow. That's impressive." A student said.

Everyone on stage grinned proudly, except for Percy who just smiled.

The Olympus in Greece that is, not the top of the Empire State Building. The reason why Gaea and Porphyrion had summoned their forces here is because Greece is the roots of the gods, if destroyed, they'd fade permanently. And we can't let that happen.

All the students stared at the demigods onstage on awe and shock. Some of their mouths opened and closed, not unlike a fish's.

"That's a lot of pressure riding on your shoulders."

"No Styx Sherlock!" Thalia snapped back.

"Percy, watch it, behind you!" Thalia yelled. I whirled, slashed automatically, cutting an Earthborn clean in half.

"Cool! I wish I had reflexes like that." A student exclaimed.

Several students and a few teachers agreed with him. A jock stood and shouted,

"Ha! I bet I could do better than that!"

Before anybody could move, the jock suddenly screamed in pain. A throwing knife sprouted from the middle of his hand.

"Where are those reflexes now Bruce?" A voice taunted.

All heads turned towards Percy who was innocently twirling another throwing knife between his fingers. His eyes glowing an eerie mixture of sea-green and poisonous green with a smug smirk on his face. Bruce said nothing, he just stood there shaking and coming very close to soiling himself.

"I thought so, why don't you just sit down." Percy said with finality.

Bruce slowly followed his command sinking into his seat.

I cursed. Even though we closed the Doors of Death, and freed Thanatos, Gaea somehow was able to resurrect monsters at anytime and anywhere.

"Thanks Thals, I owe you one." I said.

"Pfft, only one? You owe me a lot more than that, Kelp Head!" said Thalia.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Ok, fine, we'll settle it after we kill Leon and that Porpoise dude, alright" I said.

"We never settled it, did we Thals." Percy said.

"Yeah, well we didn't really have time to talk about it." Thalia replied.

"Sure, we did." Percy retorted. "It just never came up in conversation."

She opened her mouth to make a comeback, then closed it not finding one. Percy smirked in victory.

"I love how you could chat so casually during battle Perce." Leo called out.

"Shut up Leo!" The Seven shouted.

"Fine, don't you dare forget or I'll shock you around the world" Thalia said.

"Ha! You haven't done that Thalia!" Percy gloated.

That didn't bode well with Thalia. With a snap, crackle, and a pop, a bolt of lightning struck Percy. When the smoke cleared, Percy was still sitting on his chair unaffected.
