There, standing at the doorway, was Jackass and his wife.

"Kylie, are you alright?!"

"Hmph, why do you care?"

"Kylie, I never stopped caring for you. When will you realize that?!"

"Score Jackass. You just said that in front of your wife. I stopped believing in hope when you fucking left me and the twins without telling me. But I found it again. In Tom. I stopped caring for you 4 years ago. When will you realize that?"

He shut up after that. Good.

I then turned my head to see the nurse's jaw touching the floor. Almost.

"N-Nurse? Please, don't tell anyone about this. I'll lose everything if anyone else knows."

She just nodded before giving me an encouraging smile. I did nothing but give a real smile back.

She left the room, probably to give us some space and to try and remove some tension. But she left and that stayed.

"Kylie, please-"

"Shut up!!"

He just groaned in annoyance as Veronica was clinging onto him like a fucking leech. Talk about a good grip.

"Can you twats leave please? Stress isn't good for the baby."

"Tom, you idiot!!"

He just widened his eyes. I felt sorry for him now.

"It's alright lovebirds. My husband told me about this anyway."

I just glared daggers at him while he rubbed his nape. Fucking great.

"Great, so both of you know. Now get the fuck out of my sight."

"Miss. Summers! That is no way to speak to our new teachers!"

I turned my head swiftly around to see the school principal. Principal Williams.

"Sir, I-"

"No, there is no reason to be cursing at your new teachers. Detention after school."

Fuck, I have my pregnancy check-up straight after school. I can;t make it.

"Sir, this would be my first. Can you just excuse me? Just this once? You see, I have something extremely important after school and-"

"No exceptions. You will arrive at detention with Mr. and Mrs. Hackson for 1 hour. Am I clear?"

"But sir-"

"Am. I. Clear?"

I gave up and muttered a quiet 'yes'.

"Good."

He then left, making me let our a huge groan of every negative emotion.

I glared at the couple. One was looking guilty while the other was smirking. No need to explain who is who.

"Tom, I can't make the detention today. I have my first appointment straight after school. We have to discuss my stress problems with the gynecologist. I don't want to lose my first baby with you because of Jackass and Co."

Tom just gave me a smile before putting his arm around my neck, pulling me closer to him.

"Sunshine, let's go. She obviously needs some space. With her pregnancy and all, she's gonna be seriously moody. Oh, don't forget detention. You better not skip."
