Justin

"Justin, you're home late," I heard my mom say from the living room. Shit.. I forgot to call her. I guess I got to caught up with Alexandria.

"I know, i'm sorry," I mumbled closing the door behind me. My mom turned to face me, her eyes widened when they met my face.

"Justin!" She yelled, her face in pure shock. She stood up and quickly walked over to me. "What the hell happen? Who did this to you!?" No, I can't tell her the truth. She'll just worry and go down to the school, make a big scene, and make everything worse.

"I-I uhh.. I--" Make up something quick...Come on.. "Uhh--" Nope. I got nothing. I looked into my moms eyes as I saw them start to water. "It doesn't hurt....anymore," I said trying to make her feel less sympathy towards me. A tear escaped her eye before she hugged me tightly. "I'm fine. Really, mom," I said hugging her back.

"Look at you!" She said cupping me face, and examining it, "you are not fine! Where were you, why didn't you call me when this happen?!"

"I was with Alexandria, at her house, doing a project," I said casually.

"But who did this to you!?"

"Mom... I don't want to talk about this... Please, not now," I begged. She slowly nodded.

It's now Friday. I walked into the cafeteria to get some food, and instead i got some stares. I've been getting stares all day.. Yes, my face is fucked up, get over it. I grabbed a sandwich, chocolate milk, and orange, then headed to the back table with Luke. "Hey," I said as I sat in front of him.

"Damn, they fucked you up good," Luke said examining my face. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," I nodded. "Hey, I need to get something that I could wear to prom after school. You want to come?"

"Yeah. I need to make sure you don't pick out something that makes you look--"

"Like a geek?" A voice interrupted our conversation. Luke and I both looked up to see Angelina Monroe. She wore her cheer uniform that looked a bit shorter than the rest of the other cheerleaders. She motioned Logan to move over, and he quickly did. "Hi Justin," she smirked.

"Hi," I said, a bit confused on why she was here.

"So, Alex gave me the big announcement today. You two going to prom? Kind of weird if you ask me. You're totally going to ruin her reputation," Angie said, looking down at her nails. Gee thanks.. Makes me feel so much better. So far i've got her threatened by Kyle, and now i'm going to ruin her reputation. Shit, how much worse can i make things for her? "But," she said, putting her hand down and looking at me, "since I want to be a good best friend to her, i'm going to help you not ruin her rep."

"How's that going to work?" I asked her.

Angie smirked. "Meet me at the mall next Friday after school."

"Next Friday? Prom is next Friday," I said.

"Exactly. Let me worry about what you're wearing," She said standing up. "We never had this conversation. Bye," she waved and walked away.

"She's so hot," Luke mumbled, watching her as she walked back to her table. I swear, she cuts her skirts shorter than they should be or something cause' the tip of her ass was almost showing..

"Stop staring, Luke," I said. He quickly turned back to me.

"Are you going to do what she said?"

It took me a while to think about it. But i finally said, "yeah."
