-Alexandria-

I walked into my house and saw my mom on the phone... when is she not? "Ever gonna put that phone down, mom?" i asked her.

"This is important, be quiet," she hissed. I rolled my eyes.

"You're the one told me to come home," i said crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"It's almost ten o'clock and i don't want you in strangers houses, now be quiet," she said, and placed the phone back on her ear.

"Since when the hell do you care?" i said under my breath, as i walked up the stairs of my house.

I walked into my room and threw my bag on the floor. I plopped down on my bed and turned on the radio.

Today wasn't as bad as i thought. When i found out i was being paired with Justin - i have to admit - i thought this was going to be the worst thing ever.. But now, i'm starting to feel like it's not going to be so bad after all. Justin seems really nice and sweet. Also innocent. Kyle and Andrew and just jerks and dumasses who need to get lives and stop ruining others. "Alex! Turn that music down!" my mom yelled, barging into my room. I sighed and turned the radio off. "It's almost ten at night and you're making a ruckus!" Look at who's the one yelling. -.-

"Okay, i get it," i say. "I turned it off, chill."

"I need you to visit your brother tomorrow," she says, calming her voice.

"I already promised him i was," i said getting off my bed. "Unlike you," i say under my breath.

"What?" I hear my mom say, her voice sounding pissed again. "Unlike me, what?"

I'm not trying to hide anything. "Unlike you, i visit him and care about him. While you're all about your work twenty-four-seven. Shit mom, have a heart."

"Have a heart?! I have a heart, Alexandria! I work my ass off to pay the hospital bills for Angelo!"

"What about before he was sick? You didn't even give a fuck then."

"Watch your language around me!" my mom yells.

"Whatever mom, i'm going to bed. Goodnight," i say, so she can leave.

My mom gave me one last look before leaving my room. I hate it when i have to fight with my mom, but she seriously needs to step up as a parent... She doesn't even cook anymore! That's why i was so happy when Justin's mom offend me some. At home, i usually cook my self a cup noodle soup, or burn everything else. I'm the worst cook out there. I can probably even burn water... Leah, our house maid, makes me lunch before school, though. That's about it since she also has a life and needs to get home to make diner for her family, ya know, like a real mother.

The next morning i walked into the school. I'm not late today since i finally got my car back. My mom took it away for almost a week after getting a C in Chemistry. That shit ain't easy. She expects me to get perfect grades in every class. Let's see her take my classes. -.-

I walked over to my locker and took my AP Government book out. "Did you really go to Gayber's house yesterday?" I knew that voice way to well already...

"Yeah, i did, Kyle. And his name is Justin," i said back.

"I don't care what his name is," Kyle chuckled.

I rolled my eyes and began to walk away. Kyle is so annoying. I don't know why i even hang out with him.

I walked into class and sat down in my usual seat. I turned around to see if Angie was here yet, instead i saw Justin. He sits behind Angie? Wait he's in this class?.. Justin was looking down at his notebook, writing something in it. I hear the loud conversation of Andrew and Kyle fill the room. Justin kept his eyes on the notebook. I wanted to say hi to him, but before i could, Kyle yanked Justin's notebook. "Ooh, what do we have here?" Kyle chuckled.

"P-please give i back," Justin said softly.

        "Read it," Andrew laughed.

        "N-no," Justin said, "don't r-read it."

Kyle laughed before looking down at the notebook and reading, "if i was your boyfriend, never let you go." The whole class laughed.

        "Read more," Andrew laughed.

"Okay," Kyle laughed and placed his eyes back on the notebook. "Keep you in my arm girl, you'd never be alone. I can be a gentle men, anything you want. If i wa--"

"That's enough, Kyle," i said cutting him off. Finally i speak up. I should've said something a long time ago..

The whole class stopped laughing and looked at me. I looked at Justin who looked beyond embarrassed. Justin looked up and our eyes met. He looked confused, mad, surprised, sad -all these emotions put together. Kyle kept his gaze at me before throwing the notebook on the floor and walking over to his seat. Justin bent down and grabbed his notebook, placing it in the bottom of his binder. The bell rang for class to start, and i turned around to face the front of the class.
