-Justin-

"S-sorry about Luke. He's a little b-bipolar sometimes," I whispered to Alexandria, scratching the back of my neck, and looking at Luke who was walking in front of us.

"It's fine," she says back and lightly smiles.

"You two need to walk faster," Luke says turning around to us.

"We're not in a hurry, Luke," i said.

"Where are we going, anyways?" Alexandria asks.

"We d-don't know yet," i answer.

When Luke and i ditch school, we don't really go anywhere.. We just walk until we get tired, then sit 'till 3 o'clock, when school ends. Nobody even notices we're gone.

"Do you guys always ditch school?" She asks.

"Days when Justin has enough is usually when we ditch," Luke says to Alexandria.

Days when i've had enough? That has to be everyday. It's more like, days when i want to leave this cruel world and never return. But Luke always has to follow... And i'm not complaining about Alexandria.

I feel eyes on me as we continued walking. I look up from the ground and look to my left, finding Alexandria looking right me. My knees felt weak, but i continued walking. "You okay?" Alexandria whispered. I simply nodded and looked straight ahead.

No, honestly i wasn't okay. What Kyle read out loud to the class was personal. Too personal. Now people think i have a diary or something.. It's not, by the way. They're....songs.. Yeah, i write songs. You might think it's nothing to be embarrassed or worried about, but it is. I can already see and hear 99.9 percent of the whole school laughing at me over it. They laugh over every little thing i do. Now they think i have a diary. How bad do you think shit i going to get?

It's a good thing she didn't realize that the song was about her...

"I have an idea," Alexandria says, interrupting my thoughts. "Lets keep walking straight, then turn left on tenth avenue." We followed her instructions and continued our walk. "Here," she said as we stopped in front of .... an unknown place... ?

"Alex, where are we?" Luke asked.

"You guys ever been paint balling?" Alexandria smirked. Paint balling? Nope. Never done it. But i'm so down. We walked inside, and followed Alexandria to the front desk. "Hey uncle Ben," she said. Uncle?

"Hey! How's my favorite niece doing?"

"Uncle Ben, i'm your only niece," Alexandria laughed.

"True. Hey, aren't you suppose to be in school?"

"Yeah, but didn't feel like going today.. So can we shoot some paint?"

"Sure," the man smiled. "Go on in with every other kid that ditched school today as well."

We walked through the double doors that lead us to all the gear and guns. Alexandria handed Luke and I a gun each and some gear. "Your u-uncle works h-here?" i ask.

"He owns the place," Alexandria replays as she puts on her gear. "So we get to get in for free," she smiles, "you're welcome. Now hurry up, the next round is about to start." I put on my helmet and follow her out the back door which lead outside to where at least fifteen people were preparing to shoot each other. There were giant air bunkers everywhere. Paint already splattered on them from previous matches. I see Luke run out the door we came from, he puts on his helmet and joins us.

"Here you guys go," A worker says as he hands us each a colored scrimmage vest. Luke and Alexandria got blue, i got purple. I look to see  everyone else either have a purple or blue vest on.

        "What's t-this for?" i ask.

"Tells you who to shoot and who not to shoot," Alexandria says. "You're not in the same team as Luke and I, good luck." Alexandria and Luke run to the other side when all the blues are forming. I stand there like an idiot not knowing that to do.

"Hey man, come on! You're making everyone wait!" Someone in the same colored vest as I, yells out. I slowly walk up to them and stand with them. I hear a loud horn. And everyone runs behind the bunkers. I follow my color and begin to shoot my gun. I'm not really aiming at anyone. I'm just shooting randomly. I then accidentally shoot someone, a blue vest.

"Nice man!" a guy in the purple vest said patting my back. I did something right? Are you serious? Okay, this is officially my new favorite thing.
