Peyton's P.O.V

"And the last thing I remember is that there was someone there in the water with me, but he just looked... He looked so.." I couldn't stop a few tears from rolling down my face as I finished. "Calm.." I let out a shaky sigh, laying back down on the white sheets. It turns out that when I went to the creek that afternoon, I had slipped on a rock and hit my head pretty hard and blacked out, and some fishermen found me and took me to the hospital. I had been in a coma like state for about three days, but I don't remember slipping at all. The nurse at my bedside nodded. "Any facial features that you can remember?" The dream flashed through my gaze, giving me a slight headache. "He had baby blue eyes, dyed green hair, and he had a maroon sweater on.." I said, my vision growing a bit hazy, and I blinked a few times. I could've sworn I saw the boy I had just described was standing beside the nurse. "Alright, we're going to keep you here for a couple more hours, anyone you want to call?" I shrug, and the nurse walked over to my washed hoodie and picked up my phone that was laying on top of it. She handed it too me and walked out of the room. Turning on my phone and pressing in the number, I wait. I had met Emily at the creek when I had first moved away from my old house, and we clicked quickly, y having the same interests in things. "Yo the nurses aren't letting me into your room." I had spaced out a bit, not noticing that she had picked up the phone. "Why?" I ask, and I head a few voices, but they were mumbled. She hung up and I heard some footsteps in the hallway and my door opened. Emily was there with the nurse. Emily gave a glare to the nurse, and Emily walked in. The nurse left, closing the door behind her. "I could see why they wouldn't let you in, you look like a damn mental patient." I joke. Emily looked this way all the time, ripped dark blue jeans, ash grey jacket (a bit oversized), and she didn't wear makeup, neither did I, but Emily didn't sleep much and she had dark circles under her eyes. Her eyes were always half lidded as well, but she stayed calm. Emily was one of the rare down to earth people that were actually fucking crazy, but she was great. "Yeah, I know, but what happened to you? They wouldn't tell me anything either." Still hesitant to tell her about my nightmares, I answered. "I was at the creek, our meeting spot, and I slipped and hit my head on a rock. Some fishermen found me, and I was out cold for a few days." Emily nodded. "When are they gonna let you out?" She asks, glancing around the room a bit. "Oh, in a couple hours. I think they want to run more tests." I answer, and she nods again. Something flickered behind her, something, dark green? I blink a few times, resting my head on the plump hospital pillow. Emily's eyes widened a bit. "Are you okay? Do you want me to get the nurse?" Her voice was laced with worry. "O-oh, sorry, I just got a slight headache." I slightly lied. She nodded. "I'll leave you to rest, just call me when they release you." Emily said and I nodded. She stood up and leaned over the bed a bit, giving me a hug. I hugged her back, giving her a small reassuring smile, then she let go and waved at me, then walked out of the room. I heaved an annoyed sigh, resting my head fully on the pillow, relaxing a bit, closing my eyes. What is going on..?
