Berta POV

I can't believe I let him talk the girls after confirming that they belongs to him. I hope he doesn't do anything stupid I thought. I have this waiting when will the doctor come out with some news about Semira.

Than the doctor walks out. "I'm looking for the family of Semira Mendonça," he said

"How's my sister doing? Please don't tell me she died," I started to cry

"The surgery was good. Now we just have to wait for her to walk up from a coma," he said

"What surgery and coma," I asked

"Your sister had a tumor in the back of her left eye. It's a good thing she passed out," he said

"How's that?" I asked

"We'll if she didn't pass out she wouldn't have been rushed her and this could have been worse. I'll you guys back there 1 at a time. Now we just have to wait for her to walk up," the doctor said

I was the first to go back. I walked into her room. Seeing her with all the tubes hooked up to. I didn't like seeing her like this. Walking over to her bedside I grabbed her hands. "Ira you need to wake up. We all need you and so do your girls. They met Vinny told and they like him. He know Ms that he's there father and promised he wouldn't say anything to the girls until your 100% well. He's really good with the girls," I said rubbing her hands

At being in the room for what seemed like hours I let Maria in to check on her. I had to call Vinny to let him know what was going on and to check on the girls.

I dialed his number and he picked up on the first ring.

Me: Hello Vinny

Vinny: Is something wrong? How's she doing? Please say something!

Me: She had surgery and now we have to wait for her to walk up

Vinny: I want her to have her moved to a private room. This way the girls can visit

Me: Vinny there no need

Vinny: I'll not take no for answer. The girls need to see their mom. They cried for her all night until they fell asleep. I can't have my girls go through that I'll have her transferred first thing the morning. Before I forget her medical is coming I'm not going to have her stress over any bill.

Me: We'll take care of..

Than he hang up. He's trying to control everything. I how Ira wakes up soon. What ever Vinny is planning doesn't look good and I know she's not going to like it. For right now I have to let him do what he wants.
