Semira POV
The first day was boring. I got done by noon with all the filing and scheduling all his appointment. He left at 1pm telling me he had a very important meeting and should be back by 4pm. When it was 5pm I tried to call him and no answer it just kept on ringing. If this is how things where going to be than I would quite if I have a backup plain. Maybe I should threaten him that I'll quit. Tell him that I was offered an better offer and I couldn't turn it down. I was deep in thought when Celeste came in to check on in.
"Your really thinking there," she said laughing
"No just have a lot on my mind," I said
"So how was you day and where's Vinny," she ask smiling
"I don't know his been out of the off since around noon. Some kind of meeting. I've tried to call him and no answer. I've left him a few messages and nothing," I said frowning
Looking at her watch she shook her head. "You've been here this whole time? What have you been doing and why didn't you call me," she gave me the same worried look my mom gave me.
My eyes started to tear up. Trying to keep my tear from my face.
I guess she asked if she asked if she did anything to upset me.
"No! You just remind me of my mom. She was always caring like you. I really miss that," I said and the tears started to roll down my face.
She comes up to me and gives me a hug. Than the elevator door ding. Getting up quick I walk to the restroom and wash face. Getting myself to together before walking out. I smiled when I saw Celeste smacking him on head.
"Ouch what was that for! I just got here," he said trying to cover his head
"How dare you leave this poor girl for hours and tell her she can't leave until you come back," she smacks on the back of his head again
I'm going to get alone with Celeste well. I was even thinking taking her on the invitation. It wouldn't hurt and I'll just the girls with Maria that day.
"Celeste I can make it to your party this weekend! Is it ok if I bring a guest or two so I can feel comfortable," I asked
"Sure! You can bring whomever you want. Everyone is always welcomed at my home," she said giving me a big hug
