Chapter 10: Chaos's strategy of ultimate destruction

Once hearing about what happened to Sayaka, Madoka cried alone in her room, Kyubey entered and explained everything in detail to her. He revealed that he is a member of an extraterrestrial, emotionless society, worried about the total energy in the universe lowering due to entropy. Puella Magi and witches are a way to counter this, creating energy from wavering emotions of young girls. Kyubey explained that he and his peers are emotionless, they are unable to produce such energy themselves. Because of this, they also don't understand the concept of human morals. Madoka became saddened and angry because of all those revelations she has just heard. "Do you understand now what it means to become a magical girl Madoka?" Chaos asked from the far side of her room. "How and when did you get here?" Kyubey asked him. "Do you think it's all it's cracked up to be?" He asked Madoka, ignoring Kyubeys question. "This what me and Homura are trying to prevent you from and anyone else in becoming." Chaos explained, "Kyubey." "Yes?" He replied. "Get out of here or you'll regret it." "I don't think you can..." Before he could finish Chaos grabbed him by the ears and threw him as far away as he could. "And it's good!" He exclaimed doing the field goal signal. "You are one strange boy." Madoka said giving a little laugh.

"Now. To get down to the business. You want to help people don't you?" Chaos asked Madoka. "Yes. And I also want to become a magical girl even after all what Kyubey told me. Then you'll have your chance. In a few days a witch called Walpurgis Night will appear and if the magical girls and I don't succeed it will destroy this planet in about ten days." "How could you possibly know this?" "I've fought and seen the power of that witches power. It's far more powerful than me." "So, what do you want me to do?" "First, know that I'm asking you to do this. You don't have to do it if you don't want to. Second, I need you to make a wish for me." "What do you want me to wish for?" "I need you to say: I wish for Chaos to take away your wish granting ability and replace it with one of his choosing. That is all." "Seems simple enough. But why should I do it for you?" "It's my theory that Walpurgis Night is a combination of witches not just a single witch. So, therefore, no one magical girl can defeat it. If we all work together for that one time we might be able to defeat it. However, even if we do defeat that witch it won't matter. Sooner or later you all will become witches and he'll move on the next batch of naïve girls. If you make that wish for me, I'll make him pay for all the damage he's done over the years. And with that you all will be saved and able to live a normal life." "But I thought that you didn't want me to become a magical girl?" "That's Homura view. Look, I'm not bound to the magical girl rules. If you make the wish for me, I can give them a life where they are able to choose and do as they please. Do you think they are happy hunting witches for the rest of their lives or at least till they slip up and die? I can save them!" "I understand." "Think about it. And when the time comes, you'll make your decision. But know that I won't hold anything against you if you decide to not make the wish for me. It's all up to you. No pressure."

Chaos then left through her window and flew up into the sky until he couldn't be seen. He searched for Kyubey to kill him again. Once he caught Kyubey, he flew all the way up towards space. "When you come back, don't go to earth. Stay on your ship. I need to talk to you. He then threw Kyubey towards the sun as hard and fast as his powers let him. After throwing him, he quickly searched for Kyubey ship. Upon finding it, he forced his way inside thinking there would be some sort of defense protocol to an intruder. However, to his surprise, there was nothing. No laser guns shooting at him, or robots defending the ship. "Strange." He said to himself, "I guess he figured nobody would be stupid or smart enough to get to his ship of clones." He explored the huge ship and made an amazing discovery. Kyubey's clones weren't the only thing he kept on the ship, there were also clones of a female Incubator and a smaller version which Chaos figured was his son. Quickly getting to work, Chaos opened a portal in which millions of napalm barrels appeared from inside. He used his super-speed to place each one in a certain place of the ship. He found the command center of the ship and placed barrels all around the computer. He then put most the barrels at the bottom in which the engine room was located.
