She was introduced around to a few circles. Kazuma had avoided the routine introductions of a large scale, because she first needed to adjust, and get used to not having a panic attack every time she was surrounded. He gave her a phone, everyone had one here, for quick and easy communication. He was glad about the rooming arrangements, they were still rebuilding some of the places that were damaged by the fight between the Yato God and Bishamon from last time. So she was staying just a floor below, directly under him. That meant he would see her almost every other day. As for what she would do, she took on the gardening and landscaping duties. It was hard labor, and everyone usually shied away from it. But she had eagerly chosen it as he'd read out the vacancies and posts they had. It had been a few weeks since she was around. She was glowing when she was at work. But she never hung out with men. She was always surrounded by girls, children and women. When he thought about it, he'd never actually seen her talk to any man since joining, only himself and the groundskeeper. He felt happy about it. Giddily happy. He knew it wasn't healthy for her, but the thought that he was the only man who would she would speak to made him feel - possessive. She would call him every other day, with questions as to who to contact for something, or what to do in a certain situation. She was terrified of one thing alone, a blight on Bishamon. She always smiled but that wasn't good. She still needed to share her worries and troubles with someone. Just like he did. He had Bishamon. They had stuck around for so long that she almost knew this thoughts better than he did.

He showered and clothed himself. He wasn't in a very good mood. He had been working really hard with the rebuilding of everything, along with overlooking and submitting reports to Bishamon, and he hadn't seen Angela in a week. She hadn't called either. Maybe she'd run out of questions. Maybe she had too much work. Maybe she'd found someone else. The last thought especially troubled him. He grabbed a flask of his strongest coffee and made his way out. He glimpsed her sitting the lounge speaking to some of the other older women in hushed tones, eyes wide open, face red but with the most serious expression. He watched her, the way her eyes animated themselves, while she spoke. Finally, she closed them took a deep breath in and said something that looked very important. Her face grew redder as she said it. Suddenly all the women burst out laughing. She looked so cute, confused. It seemed like an interesting conversation. He wanted to be part of it so desperately. But he needed to haul his ass and get to work. As he turned around he heard a door yank open, and found himself face-to-face with Angela. Her eyes were so wide open, like she had seen and heard the most unbelievably stupid thing in the world. She squeaked as she saw him. It made him smirk. "Did you.. um.. hear what we were talking about?", she almost shouted, her voice high and terrified. "Not a word. But it did seem like it was fun. What were you talking about?", he asked, his mood instantly improving. "NOTHING! " she screamed and turned away, running away fast. Like she wanted to get away from him as soon as possible. That startled him. What had he done, and what were they talking about that she didn't want him to know about? A few of the ladies started walking out and one of them called out to him. "Hey Kazuma! Any vacations coming up for us?", she asked. She was old Lady Kary, and always knew what was happening where, and had a mouth that moved like wildfire. But she was kind and loving, and anyone could always go to her."Nothing yet", he replied "But I think Bishamon has something in mind. We've all just been too busy.", he continued. "Well, I think some of us might need one sooner than the others. Angela is such a cutie! We just explained our little partner system to her. Oh heavens her little face looked redder than a tomato! She had some-ahem-lady aches that she felt wanted to get rid off", the older lady continued, snorting. "She did?", Kazuma asked immediately, turning his head sharply to look her in the face "Well, she's been asking us every question she had, because we told her not to bother you too much with work. Besides, your mate probably wouldn't like it much that some newbie lady keeps calling you.", piped in one of the other ladies. "But I don't have one.", Kazuma replied, perplexed. Why would they say that to her? "Oh well, I'm just trying to introduce her to some of the youngsters, anyway, so that she can, you know.. taste the fruits of different trees before she has to settle and take a pick a favorite. Hahah! Oh gosh her face! She was so flustered and immediately insisted that she did NOT want that! She totally has someone she has the hots for someone!" And with that the rest of the old ladies joined her, and carried on down the corridor, laughing and smacking at each other. Kazuma felt a small pinch. She liked someone. Already. He walked down the offices, lost in his thoughts, wondering who it could be. The groundskeeper? Maybe she met someone in their closed quarters. Until she actually picked a partner it didn't matter. He still had a chance. And he would have to start working on his intentions with her if he didn't want to lose her.

She had needs. They had almost kissed the one time. He would find and make a way to have her. He knew he had to be careful. She killed herself because she was about to be gang-raped. Sex couldn't come easily to her. But at least now, she had aches. Just like he did. He wondered what she did. Did she touch herself, when she felt that building need inside her? Did she imagine someone else touching her? Just thinking about it got him riled up. As he walked out he saw her bending over some flowers and speaking to the children. They were always around her, listening to her with apt attention, drinking in every word she said. As a bell tolled, he realized he'd been basically stalking her for the past hour. He really did need to get back to work. So he turned and reluctantly walked over to Bishamon's and his shared office.
