Chap 7
Skyler's pov

I knocked the door thrice before I heard his voice "it's open".

I gently opened the door and entered. I was still mad about yesterday so I acted like I wasn't scared and looked at him straight but I regretted it because I was soon caught up in those drowning blue eyes. "What do you want? " his voice brought me back to my senses.
I dropped my head down this time "um, Eve and I are going to the mall so I came to ask if I could get some money". I was about to tell him Tyler was coming with us when he spoke up "I didn't say you could go " I raised my eyes to meet his blue eyes before putting my head down again. "Tell Eve to see me now".

I left his office and got downstsirs to meet two pairs of curious eyes staring at me"what did he say? ". I took a deep breath before breaking the sad news to them "He said no but he wants to see you Eve". She just rolled her eyes before going upstairs. The last thing I heard wss the click of the door. I looked back to see Tyler staring on the stairs "are you seriously going to stare at the stairs till she comes back" he sighed before going to sit on the couch I followed him "scared?" I asked him "no, not at all" he seemed to study me for a minute before breaking the silence " Skyler, you know, he isn't really as mean as he seems" I rolled my eyes in sarcasm he must have noticed it " no, really he might seem stuck up and all but deep down he's really a good guy"

I was about to say something when I heard Eve squeal. "He said we could go, apparently you heard something else. I looked at her in disbelief, I had to confirm "Are you sure he said that?" She just rolled her eyes at me "if you don't believe me ask him yourself" she knew I wasn't going to meet him " ok let's get dressed". I kept staring at her as she dragged me all the way to my room. I lazily had my bath but I must have stayed pretty long in the bathroom because by the time I came out Eve was already dressed "you are actually slow" I glared at her "really?

I was busy washing off all traces of dirt on my body no thanks to a particular someone" she dragged me to sit in front of the mirror before going to my closet to pick an outfit, she appeared in front of me with a tank top and shorts with black converse. I threw the outfit on and was about to walk out when she pulled me back "nu-un sister we're not done, you can look dead when I'm not around but you will not walk with me looking like crap"

I groaned before sitting down allowing her to pack my hair in a bun "please make the makeup as light as possible" she just huffed but by the time she was done I actually didn't look bad at all "let's go, Tyler's already whining and its sarting to piss me off" even with her complaint I couldn't help but notice the way her face was slightly flushed. Skyler! Nothing is up between them. Maybe he made a dirty comment. Yeah right.

I grabbed my phone before heading outside with Eve. We got to the garage to see a very pissed off beta leaning by the car "seriously, how long does it take to dress up and do all your girly stuffs?" "You should be glad we're early" I heard Eve put in before seeing Tyler's face becoming shocked "what!?"

I decided to chip in too "Yeah, you should thank us because we're actually training you on how to be a good mate for your chic". I heard him mutter something that sounded like whatever and I definitely didn't miss the blush on Eve's face this time. I don't hear a dirty comment there. I had to tell my wolf So what if something is up maybe their not mates she would have told us right?. I don't know.

Tyler opened the door to the car. I was about to sit beside him when i heard Eve growl I moved back immediately and she looked at me like nothing happened "Are you sure you don't want to sit there? She asked me even though I knew she didn't want me to sit there "no, it's fine" before I finished she had already gotten in I entered the back seat. Yep! Something is definitely going on. I'm glad you finally agree. The ride was quiet aside from occasional giggling from Eve. After a while I decided to break the silence ''guys,do you think I could invite my brother and his mate". "Sure no problem".

I called jace. He picked it on the second Ring " Hi, what's up bitch?" Typical jasmine
I chuckled "hey I was wondering if you guys wanted to hang out at the mall now "
"Sure no p we're on our way see you soon sweetcakes"
"OK first, ew! second, hurry" I dropped the call soon to a squealing Eve

"We're here!" She screamed

"You just screamed In my ear" she just stuck out her tongue before getting out of the car I sighed and got down as Eve dragged me inside the mall

3 sad hours. It has officially been 3 sad hours of my life. As soon as jasmine and jace came and the introduction was made they got off like two evil sisters plotting to destroy my entire life. I've been to practically every shop in the mall.

"Three" Eve and jasmine argued back

Tyler was about to say his own value when Jace stopped him. He walked up to jasmine so close up and kissed her " I'll let you model the sexy lingerie you both yesterday"
I saw her face turn a deep shade of red before she raised her head to him
"Fine 1".

I gagged before finally following Jasmine to one last place. The boys left to drop the bags in the car .We finally got to the place
" VICTORIA SECRET ". As soon as we entered I walked to a section of underwear and I sighted a pink underwear. It looked funny but I liked it, I was about to pick it when Eve stopped me" oh hell no!"

Jasmine turned to me and turned back to Eve "it's not that bad". Eve turned to her and gave her a 'are you kidding me' look
" would you wear this for your mate?" She shook her head and moved me to another section as I actually understood what Eve said

"Wait a minute guys I am not actually doing this for anybody okay"

They both seemed so engrossed in the shopping " sure honey if it helps you sleep at night". I just rolled my eyes as they kept on throwing things in my hands.
Eve got herself a black sexy lingerie

"Tyler is so going to be head over heels when he sees you" I was about to tell jasmine they weren't mates when I saw Eve turn red

told you something was up Chanel Sang in my ear. I ignored her as we paid for the things and went to meet the guys

"Jasmine those two aren't actually mates" we were standing outside the mall, Tyler and Eve were waiting in the car and I wanted to tell my family bye

"Are you so blind? they are fucking mates, they were practically drooling over each other while we ate" Jace looked so sure as he told me

"You could be right anyway have you found out what's going on with our link ?" I needed to find out

"Not yet the alpha is still looking into it but don't worry it will be fine" I nodded and he kissed me on my forehead and Jasmine hugged me

"We have to go. remember if you need anything we're still your family okay"

I nodded "sure"

"Bye bitch"

I waved as I joined Eve in the car.

I miss my family. I miss my life.
