Mukuro's Life In Despair (Vol. 2)

The Beginning

  So this is Hopes Peak Academy. Hello my name is Mukuro Ikusaba. I'm a new student who came to Hopes Peak Academy. You need two things to enter. 1. You need to be enrolled in high school 2. You need to be good at what you do.

  I guess it's time to enter. When I stepped onto the campus I felt a strange feeling. Everything started to swirl. Then darkness. Everything will change.

  I woke up in a classroom. "Huh?" Iron plates covered the windows, surveillance cameras, and a monitor could be seen in the classroom. There seemed to be a piece of paper on the desk I laid on. It had a horrible drawing. It says "Please meet in the gymnasium at 8:00 AM." I looked at the clock it was a little past eight.

  I should hurry. As soon as I got there I opened the door. There stood 14 people plus me 15. "Is that everyone?" "Seems like it." "How dare you be late it said 8:00 sharp!" He's going to be a handful.

"Should we introduce ourselves first?" "Yes. We should." I don't want to talk to anyone. "Hello my name Naegi Makoto. What's your name?" He started talking to me fine I'll just introduce myself to him. "My name is Ikusaba Mukuro. Please call me Mukuro." "Ok. What's you super high school level?" My super high school level. I keep thinking and thinking but my mind comes to a blank. "That's not important right now." "Ok then you don't have to tell me."

  That's when it all began something weird and unexpected like it came from a sy-fi movie. "Testing, testing 1,2,3 mic check, mic check." He or it came from a podium? "A black and white bear?" "I'm not a bear I'm Monokuma your headmaster." What the hell is this? "Is this part of the orientation?" "Also where are our phones?" Everyone checked for their phones no luck.

  "Welcome to Hopes Peak Academy. Your living courtiers. By living courtiers I mean permanent living courtiers." "Wha-what the?!" "So the iron plates on the windows are to keep us in?" "Bingo!" What is going on? "But there is one way out." "Which is?" "Good old-fashioned murder. Budging, stabbing, slicing, you can do whatever in the old murdering books." What the hell is going on? "Take this shit any-farther teddy-two-toes!" Mondo started talking or yelling. "Was that a threat?" Monokuma started walking towards him. "What're going to do impale me with that weird hair style?" "Ok that's going to far!" Mondo picks up Monokuma. "Violence to the headmaster is strictly prohibited!" A beeping noise could be heard me and Kyoko yelled "Toss him!" At the same time. He did what we told him and, boom! A massive explosion echoed out. My ears are ringing. Chihiro then asks "So th-the teddy-bear is Caput?"

  "Not a 'teddy-bear' I'm Monokuma." How is he still here? "Next time you do that I'm ending you!" Good job piss off the bear. "Anyway I would check the rules if I were you." The rules? "Oh I almost forgot your Electro-ID's. It has all the rules in it. That's all so good luck." He then vanished.

  I should check the rules. So I turned on the Electro-ID there displaced my name. I opened to the rules. Rule 1 Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time.
Rule 2 "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 7 am. Some areas are off-limits at night, so please exercise caution.
Rule 3 Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly.
Rule 4 With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion.
Rule 5 Violence against headmaster Monokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras.
Rule 6 Anyone who kills a fellow student and becomes "blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered.
Rule 7 Additional school regulations may be added if necessary.

  That's a handful. Kyoko broke the silence between us all. "We should look around the campus." We all agreed but then "I prefer to look alone." Byakuya says something stupid. "Do you think that's wise?" Even Aio disagrees. "Yes especially since one of you are probably timing my demise." "Hold it right there!" Mondo interferes. "Out of my way you worthless plankton." "Oh your paranoia is about to be right on".

  "Wait guys the last thing we want to do is fight." "What did you say you little punk? Are you trying to give me a lesson on friendship? Maybe teamwork?" "N-no I-I." "Get out of here!" You could here a loud bang as he punches Makoto. He was out cold.

  "Aio and I can go find his room and take him there." Sayaka then says "I want to go keep and eye on him." "I'll keep guard." Everyone was shocked to hear me say that even I was. It was like pure instinct. They all agreed. But "Hold on there missy!" Mondo again. "Do you have the balls to stand guard!?" "Bigger balls than you." "Really now?" He threw a punch at me I blocked it and kneed him in the stomach. He was moaning in pain. Everyone was shocked even me. Anyway it's time to stand guard.
