~Alex's POV~
Once the sun went down, I waited for Tora to come. I watch the gates closely, and finally, I see Tora walk through the gate. I smile and run up to her.
"Tora!" I yell as I try to hug her. She "hugs" back and smiles.
"Hey Alex! How was your day?" Tora asks me. I look at her and freeze. Should I tell her?
"O-Oh! It was f-fine.." I stutter out. Tora looks at me with a confused look on her face.
"Alex, whats wro-" I grab her hand, cutting her off and running off, dragging her along to the place the prince got stabbed. I make her look over the castle wall, to see the dead body of the prince. "A-Alex... Why did you do that?!" Tora yells me. I look down and start to mumble,
"He threatened me, and I had no idea what to do..." I tell her. Tora backs away.
"I-I have to go.." Tora says running away. My eyes go wide.
"Tora! I'm sorry!" I yell as she leaves my sight. I sit down in the corner of the tower, starting to cry.
~Tora's POV~
Get away from him Tora! He could hurt you! The person inside says to me.
"I-I have to go.." I say running away from Alex.
"Tora! I'm sorry!" I hear Alex yell as I continue running, letting my tears blur my vision. I fall to the ground, crying my eyes out.
"He's a murderer ghosty." I hear somebody say. I look up to see the merchant.
"I-I know that.. But I love h-him.." I choke out, wiping my tears away. The merchant laughs.
"You'll get him off your mind soon. Just don't come back tomorrow night." The merchant says to me, smiling. I look at him and get up, running away.
