clarke drove as fast as she could to the hospital. she went beyond the speed limit definitely, but she didn't care. she just wanted to make sure lexa was okay. she didn't want to lose her too.
but lexa wasn't like him.
lexa was special.
she then pulled into a parking space and ran into the hospital. as soon as the doors were open, she rushed to the front desk, her heart pounding.
"hello, how can i-"
"what room is lexa woods in?"
the woman at the front desk stared, and then looked through a book.
"room 307. the elevator is on your left."
"thank you."
clarke pushed the up button so many times, she was warned by the same lady. she didn't care though, she just watched the elevator come down through the glass compartment. as soon as it opened, she pressed the third floor. the elevator, designed to move fast because it was in a hospital, quickly got to the 300 level.
as soon as the doors opened, clarke ran inside the room.
lexa was lying there, staring at clarke."
"oh my god."
clarke sat down next to the bed lexa lied in. her eyes had shadows under them, and the green in them seemed faded, she looked so tired. pain was in her eyes too, and her breathing was unsteady. her pink lips were chapped and faded, becoming a slightly lighter color. her hair was messed up and tangled. her hands were shaking as they rest on the covers. clarke couldn't help but take her soft hands.
"it's okay, you're okay."
clarke stroked lexa's hair gently. "how are you feeling?"
lexa swallowed. "well, i was going to ask you that."
clarke looked at her.
"lexa, it's-"
"no, it's not. i yelled at you for being sad. i blamed you for something you didn't do. you've been through a lot, and i don't know why i made it even worse. how i didn't realize that you were always there for me, and you will always be. i always wanted to tell you that you're beautiful, and so are your scars, and your past, and your heart. and also i want to say- im sorry. im so sorry clarke. i never meant to hurt you, and i understand if you don't feel the same way. i just want to take care of you, i want to make sure you're okay. i want to comfort you when you're having a bad day, and cuddle with you when you're feeling cold. i'd do anything for you. i want you to be happy. i want the best for you clarke. i love you."
both of them had tears running down their cheeks. lexa choked out a sob, and clarke wiped her tears from the brunette's face.
"i love you too lexa."
before they knew it, their lips connected yet again. the kiss was filled with relief, happiness, love, passion. they felt so happy with the connection between them. they needed this. they loved each other. after breaking the kiss, lexa stared into clarke's blue, ocean eyes.
"i can get lost in those eyes."
clarke's cheeks turned a shade darker. lexa smiled lazily and put her arm around clarke. the blond rested her head on lexa's chest, sighing.
"wow. pda as fuck."
they both jumped and turned. there stood raven, bellamy, octavia, and lincoln, all smiling.
everyone laughed for a moment.
"how did you find us, and why are you here?" lexa giggled.
"well my dumbass thought i was pregnant so we all went here and then we changed our minds when we say lexa's name on the register" octavia laughed. "and apparently, im not pregnant. i just had a big stomach ache."
they all laughed.
and all of them, especially the once broken clarke and lexa, were finally happy. clarke had found herself in a girl she loved. lexa had found a home with clarke. but it didn't matter where they were. when they were together, it was always home.
