"i'm so happy you're out of the hospital." clarke hummed as she rubbed her fingers lovingly across lexa's bare arm, making lexa sigh. they were still coated in sweat, although they were relaxing for minutes, just soaking each other's company.

"me too." lexa quietly said, facing the other direction as she lay down. it was quiet and all you could hear was their soft breathing.

clarke leaned over and kissed lexa shoulder, then swallowed nervously. "hey. can i ask you a question?" she stared at lexa's back tattoos as she spoke.

"yes." lexa spoke quietly again.

"i... made a reservation for this restaurant." clarke spoke the last part quickly, then swallowed. "i was... wondering if i could take you out tonight." she shut her eyes and waited for lexa's response. the green eyed girl turned and faced clarke, her expression soft, but happy.

"of course. thank you, clarke!" she leaned over and kissed clarke gently, cupping her face in her hands. the blonde smiled into the kiss, and hummed happily.

"let's get dressed."

//

"you look so beautiful."

lexa murmured as clarke walked towards her in a black low cut dress and high heels, a mix or casual and classy, with a choker around her neck. her hair was curled, resting on her shoulders. clarke smiled gently, blushing. she looked lexa up and down, admiring her choice of clothing. she wore a white button up and black dress pants, with a tie tied up and hanging loose from her neck. her hair was all on one side, resting on her left shoulder.

"so do you." her comment made lexa blush and pull her girlfriend into a kiss.

the restaurant was near a mall, so the host had to park it in the mall's parking lot and walk to the restaurant with her lover. when lexa got out of the car, she took clarke's hand in hers and planted a kiss on her cheek.

"thank you for taking me." she smiled at her girlfriend, who reciprocated.

"you're welcome, babe." clarke smiled happily at lexa, squeezing her hand gently.

they walked hand in hand to the restaurant. every so often they would smile at each other, or one of the two would give the other a kiss on the cheek.

clarke sighed in exhaustion when she saw paparazzi taking pictures of her and lexa near the restaurant. "lexa. we have to move quickly." she said gesturing towards he cameras that were turned in their direction. the latter, who has never been in this situation, just nodded and held clarke's hand. the blonde pulled lexa through the paparazzi. interviewers asked questions about their relationship, getting so close that they could barely walk through. all lexa could see was clarke's hand holding hers, and camera lights flashing. the lack of personal space and questions being asked to her left her flustered. she just smiled at the cameras occasionally. until then clarke managed to pull her into the restaurant, sighing and shaking her head.

"i'm sorry lexa." she looked at her sadly. "this will happen alot when we go out."

"that's fine, i don't mind. i'm just wondering how you deal with it all the time." lexa chuckled at the radio host, making her give a throaty laugh.

"there's cameras flashing everytime i go out. i've had so many ways to get away with it." she grinned at her girlfriend. "i even took my mattress with me once and ran with it in front of me." lexa laughed and slapped clarke's arm playfully.
