Vick POV
Damn she's a piece of work. Looking at Roni was like looking at the pinnacle of privilege. I mean her dad makes a call and the whole school falls to their knees. How do I even begin to describe Veronica Grey? Here's how:
She's got blonde hair and such a bitchy attitude
She's got money to burn. Her wardrobe costs more than my house. And as far as I see her personality is as deep as the compact mirror she's looking in. Girls like her make my blood boil and I don't know why. Maybe it's because her parents are well respected and mine are in/were in jail. My mother is serving for drug abuse and my father served when I was in middle school for child abuse, some how he managed to convince the judge he has changed and moved back into my house with me, my older and younger brothers and my sister. My brother Marco is currently working at a gas station to pay bills, my sister Abrielle is  working on moving in with her boyfriend soon to be the father of her son. And that leaves me and Mateo at home with my father all day. This isn't the first time I've been to Taylor's office and it certainly won't be the last her voice is always stuck in my head "Mr. Valentino  Cordova, here again I see" and no matter how many time is tell her that I like to be called Vick she doesn't listen.

The next class I have is art but I've never gone I'm pretty sure the teacher doesn't even know I'm skipping he's too busy sucking Roni's dick to notice the rest of us. I meet Marley  outside the gym she has cigarettes and a hell of a lot to say. "So what kind of trouble did sunshine get into" she asks flicking ashes from her cig. "None" I respond my eyes wandering towards the football field. "Of course...." Marley growled some profanity and rolled her eyes. "How about you? Call the Son of a bitch?" She was asking about my dad. She dislikes him almost as much  as I do since he banished  her from my house for stealing his whiskey. "Not this time" my mind was else where I started thinking, Marley was supposed to be in gym at the moment. She skips because our teacher hates her nose piercing and always tells her to take it out. Marley reaches for my hand. She rubs my palm with her fingers mindlessly and starts to talk about how much better things will be after high school. We've talked about this a thousand times. Marley wants me to move in with her and her aunt and get a job at a car place or some other business that doesn't need a ton of experience. And then she wants a dog and booze and she wants to start a band. As many times as she said it I'm still not convinced. My mom is getting out in august and then we can move into a new house without my dad. Marley isn't a huge fan of my family. Even though we aren't the classiest family, they still don't like what she wears and her drug problem and constant nagging and stealing from our booze cupboard. I think I'm dating Marley out of spite to piss of my dad. I mean she's not awful but she's a lot to handle. We had sex on our first date and now she wants it every time. Plus I know she's banging Nico from her geometry. I can't dump her because she'd be livid and blow a gasket.
