"Mom, I'm thinking about moving out and getting my own place."
I said, looking at my mom, anticipating her response.

She chuckled and shook her head.
"Go ahead, you'll be back home kid."

I frowned at her and walked off.
Her ass thinks I'm playing. We gon see.
I walked to my room to get my last bag before heading on my new journey.
I didn't even bother telling my mom bye. I was ecstatic to be leaving.
I hated staying here. We fought and argued too much.
I connected my phone to my car's Bluetooth once I was settled inside and blasted PC Tweezie's "Humble"

A few hours later I was arriving at my new apartment in Palm Beach, Florida. I jumped out of my car and inhaled the fresh air. This shit was nice as fuck and I knew I'd enjoy the area.
I walked up to the front door, opening it with my key and furrowed my eyebrows. It was empty, but my furniture should be here within the next hour.

I sat on my porch as I waited for the moving company to get here and perked up as I saw the All My Son's truck pull up in front of my place.

Out stepped a fine light skinned guy with dreads and tattoos covering his arms. I couldn't help but smile as he walked over and introduced himself.

"Hey, I'm Chad. Where do you want everything?" He asked, licking his lips.

"I have the boxes labeled, so you can just sit everything in the corner of whichever room it's posed to go in... Um, just put the bed together for me please?" I smiled.

He looked at me for a few seconds, nodded his head, and walked to the back of the truck with the other two workers.
I watched him discreetly as they all moved my things in my house.

"Sooo, you must be new to the town" he asked, following me to my bedroom.

I nodded my head "You're right. I'm from Orlando"

I pointed to where I wanted my bed and backed into a corner as I waited for them to complete their task at hand.
I watched him purse his lips and smirk a little.

"Orlando huh? What made you come to Palm Beach?" He glanced up at me.

His coworkers just listened in as me and him held our conversation.

"Ion really know to be honest. Wanted to move to a new environment."

He nodded and the room filled itself with an awkward silence as he decided not to reply.

I walked out of the room and into the kitchen to start putting things away.

"You wasn't gon offer us something to drink?"

I damn near jumped out my drawers as his deep voice filled the the quiet kitchen.

"You shouldn't be walking up on people like that. Damnit!" I rolled my eyes at him.

He stared me down for a few minutes and took a step towards me.
"We done shawt."

I bit my bottom lip. He smelled like Adidas cologne. I scurried around him to get my purse so that I could give them their tips.

They thanked me and left... Now I could get down to business.
