"Bruh, wasup witchu" my homeboy Montana said as he looked me over.

"Bih I'm straight, whatchu mean" I questioned

He shrugged his shoulders not saying anything back to me. I  glanced down at my vibrating phone, smirking at the message.

"Aye, you tryna get yo ass beat in fortnite" Montana asked as he turned on the PS4 in my living room

"Hell nah, don't nobody play that lame ass shit. Iono why you downloaded it on my game" I chuckled

He smacked his teeth before focusing his attention on the game as it loaded. I shook my head at him before looking back down at my phone. I was about to meet up with this chick I had started talking to. I decided to stop pursuing Marlei since I hadn't heard from her in two weeks and every time I called it'd go straight to voicemail as if my number was blocked. I even drove by her house a couple times but her car wasn't there whenever I did. I  felt like she wasn't fuckin with me so I had left her alone.

I replied to my text and stood up from the couch, stretching my arms out. I opened the sliding glass door in my living room and walked onto the balcony, leaning on the rail. I took in the fresh air and relaxed some. A few moments later my phone rung from a private number. I had been getting calls all week but anybody who knows me, knows I don't answer unknown numbers let alone private ones.
I declined the call and sat back in one of the chairs. Today was a boring day and my lil baby wanted to take things slow so she didn't think it was appropriate for her to come over to my crib just yet.
Montana's lame ass just wanted to play videogames and I really didn't have much friends. I was told I didn't have a friendly face and it was hard to approach me initially. I didn't care tho, shit kept me out of a lot of trouble.

"Aye uglass boy, you want something from the store" I shouted to Montana from the balcony.

After a few minutes of him not saying anything I walked inside and grabbed my keys from the couch.

"Get me some gummy bears and a pack of backwoods" he said once I reached the door.

I nodded and locked the door behind me. Jogging down the stairs, I made it to my car, getting in and starting it. I sat in the parking lot trying to find a good song before settling for Lucci's 'Documentary.' I turned the volume up loud and sped out of the complex.

Once I got to the Kwik stop, I parked and turned the car off. I hopped out, smoothing my shirt a little and headed inside.
I picked up a bag of Cheeto puffs and headed down another isle.

"Look at this bitch ass Nigga" I heard somebody mumble behind me.

I wasn't a 'bitch ass nigga' so I ignored the comment cause I knew they weren't talking about me.
I kept on walking and went over to the drinks grabbing a orange carrot mistic before getting Montana's gummies and headed to the counter with all of my items.

"Pack of backwoods too" I said to the man at the counter.

After everything was paid for I left out  of the store. As I fumbled to get my keys to unlock my door I felt eyes on me. I stopped and looked around until I found where the feeling was coming from. I locked eyes with Marlei as she sat on the passenger side of a red camaro. I was about to walk over until I saw that light skinned nigga that was hatin on me walk out of the store.
He stopped and stood there watching Marlei as she stared at me.
I couldn't see her face all that good because the windows were tinted but I knew it was her.

His eyes followed her gaze and landed on me. I rolled my eyes and cracked a smile at him which seemed to infuriate him.
I chuckled to myself before finally getting in my car.
I watched him storm over to his car and get inside, slamming the door in the process. We both pulled out of the parking lot and he sped down the street in the opposite direction running the stop sign in the process.
I drove the short distance back to my house and went up to my home.
