Rocky's journal:
Saturday Sep. 4,
I visited my best friend, Chase today at his dorm and I had so much fun. I feel as though I can really be myself around him. I like that. We not only made up for lost time, but he also somewhat helped me build up enough courage to actually talk to my roommate. Like, I actually had a normal conversation with him, and I think were friends now! Score! Do I think I can talk to anyone now? Nope. Probably should just take baby steps for now.
Hearts are wild creatures, which is why our ribs are cages.

"Chase b-be careful!" Rocky yelled at the brunette whom was in a tree trying to get down after climbing up there to retrieve his football that got thrown up there.
People were walking by giving the two weird stares which made Rocky a bit uncomfortable. "Chase, People a-are starting..." Rocky whispered loud enough for Chase to hear. "So what, let em."
Chase's foot was caught in between two branches and he was getting a little agitated since he couldn't get it out. "Damn it... " he mumbled to himself looking around for a branch to grab onto for support.
While looking around for a branch he caught sight of a guy walking below him and instantly thought the guy was attractive. Those blue cerulean eyes, they were the colour of a perfect raindrop on a blue aster. His skinny physique which indicated he was on some kind of diet. ' Wait what? '
As Chase was ogling over the stranger, he missed the branch he was about to grab onto and fell forward, hitting his face on a lower branch. He was about to fall but since his ankle was still caught in between the two branches he was left hanging from the tree.
"Chase!" Rocky yelled, worry in his voice. The brunette winced from the sharp pain that shot through his ankle and could feel a warm liquid dripping from his face before he eventually blacked out.
When Chase opened his eyes he noticed that he was now in a dorm room. But it wasn't his room. The brunette sat up in the bed and winced from the sharp pain in his ankle when he tried to move it. "Don't try to move it to much." a voice spoke.
Chase turned to see a boy around his age with white colored hair. "You twisted your ankle pretty bad, not enough to break anything, so I just wrapped it up. Its best you stay off of it for a while and let it heal." the white-haired boy explained a bit nervously, avoiding eye contact.
It reminded him of a certain grey-haired friend of his. Chase nodded, "So..."
"O-oh yea. Since you're injuries weren't really fatal, your friend and I brought you here to my dorm so I could clean and patch you up..." he explained again but with a little more confidence. "My mother was a nurse so she taught me a few things... Like basic medical care and such."
Chase felt like he could listen to the boy talk for hours. He loved how soft spoken he was, how caring he seemed, how his eyes were like beautiful jewels. The brunette was confused at these feelings. He didn't normally think like that toward guys, but he didn't really think too much of it.
"Uh, my names Marshall by the way." the light-haired teen introduced himself finally making eye contact with Chase. "Chase... " the brunette smiled.

Rocky was standing in front of the coffee shop waiting for a certain chocolate-haired boy whom he agreed to meet and have a drink with. But he wasn't there yet so Rocky was standing there alone. Luckily there weren't many people out.
He checked the time and remembered that he didn't say a specific time they would meet up, he didn't even say why they were meeting up. He thought about why he agreed to having coffee with someone he barely knew and considered leaving but something told him to stay.
"Well if it ain't the fag himself." a voice said. Rocky looked up to see a rather tall, buff looking guy standing in front of him. His eyes widened as he looked at the guy, his heart beating a mile a minute and he started shaking uncontrollably.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly. Rocky was speechless and frozen with fear. He recognized the guy as his high school bully, Josh, one of the reasons he was the way he is now. "Don't tell me you're going to Adventure college" he said, disgust clearly in his voice.
Rocky nodded, swallowing hard. He wanted to walk away but before he could even attempt to, Josh gripped his hair tightly causing Rocky to squeal a bit. "You think your too good to answer me?" he then slammed Rocky's head into the brick wall behind him causing the grey-haired boy to yelp loudly in pain. "Better remember your place fag." he spat.
Josh punched Rocky in the stomach hard enough to where he was gasping for air then tossed him onto the ground. "I don't wanna see your face around campus." he said before walking off leaving a crying Rocky.
Rocky was having an anxiety attack. He started crying as he could feel a headache forming in the back of his head where Josh had slammed it. Not knowing what to do he pulled out his phone and started dialing Chase's number.
"Wocky?" the grey-haired boy looked up to see his roommate Zuma standing there with a now concerned and worried expression when he saw the tears. "Oh my god awe you alwight? What happened?" Zuma asked. Rocky just continued to cry so Zuma brought him into a tight hug. "Shh it's okay, breathe."
Zuma tried to calm him down by rubbing his hand up and down his back. That helped calm the grey-haired boy a lot and it was surprising because normally the only person who could do that was Chase. Rocky then found himself resting his head on Zuma's shoulder. He felt safe in the chocolate-haired boy's arms and he liked that feeling.
"T-thank you." Rocky sniffled. "For what?" Zuma asked. He didn't know what he did to be thanked by the boy. "For comforting me a-and calming me d-down." he replied. Each time he spoke to Zuma, he stuttered less and less and this didn't go unnoticed as Zuma found it easier to talk to him.
"No need to thank me, that's what fwiends awe for." he smiled.
Rocky didn't say anything. He just wrapped his arms around Zuma, hugging him back. ' Maybe its easier than I thought to make friends '
