She may be hurt, but she doesn't show it.

She hides behind a mask, afraid to be judged.

She never takes it off, not even when at home.

Nobody can help her, but who said she wants it.

To her she is alone, but she never lets people in.

In her mind its dark, she sees no light.

There isn't an end, but she doesn't mind that it consumes her.

Because she is alone, and she knows she is never going to leave.

Because darkness is all she can see.
