Seeing N awake and then realizing what it was exactly that he just did, Leo bolted up from his seat, knocking N off the couch in the process, and ran to his room. N sat up from his new spot on the floor and started after Leo.
He brought his fingers up to his lips feeling where Leo's lips had just been. He could still feel the tingling sensation. He lightly bit his lip and gave a small smile before he figured he should follow Leo, who was probably freaking out right now.
"Leo." N said knocking on their bedroom door. "Leo I know you're in there just open the door, we need to talk."
He jiggled the door knob, and when it would not open he sighed and sat down in front of the door. Leo was sitting against the other side of the door and hears the soft swish as N sat down, and a small bump when he rested his head against the door. They sat in silence for a while, simply basking in each other's presence through the door.
"Do you know the first time I realized I liked you for more than simply as a friend?" N suddenly spoke up breaking the silence. Leo couldn't believe what he was hearing and held his breath, afraid that any movement would break this dream that he was sure he was in. "It was when we had first started to get to know each other. You and I were walking from the car to the studio and all of a sudden I noticed you were not next to me anymore. When I looked around I saw you with a dog that was walking down the street. That was the first time I really saw you smile." Thinking back on the memory make N's heart skip a beat. That smile was so beautiful and radiant that N had wanted to make Leo smile all the time. Well, it seemed he had failed in that department over the past couple days.
N heard Leo standing up quickly on the other side of the door and the next thing he knew he was laying back on the floor looking up at the younger man. A smile spread across N's face as he saw the look of amazement in Leo's eyes at what he had just heard.
"Really?" Leo asked, kneeling down next to N as he sat up.
"Honestly Leo, how could you have not known? I am always clinging to you and I always want to be around you." N said.
"I thought you just liked to bother me." Leo looked down embarrassed that he hadn't noticed the signs sooner.
"Well I do like to bother you, but that is because I always want to be around you." N said taking Leo's face in his hands. "I like you, Leo."
N crashed his mouth into Leo's and they kissed, hungry for each other and not bothering to hold back any longer.
When they pulled apart, Leo rested his forehead on N's and whispered, "I like you too."
That night they fell asleep holding each other. N was always the first to wake up so there was no need to worry about the others finding out yet. They would tell them eventually, but not right now. They had enough to deal with at the moment.
The next morning N, as always, woke up first. He wanted to wake Leo but his sleeping face looked so peaceful that he found this job difficult, wanting to let Leo sleep for a little longer. Instead, N got up and went to the bathroom. He closed the door and turned on the shower preparing to get ready for the day. Today was his first therapy session. He dreaded this. He did not want to go in and tell someone he barely knew all his problem. He did not want to face these issues in the first place, it just made him feel broken.
He pulled off his shirt and looked at his tan, toned body in the mirror. As he looked at the scars that littered his torso he realized that he was broken, he had been for a while now, and now he had a chance to try and fix it.
He heard a knock on the door. "Yes?" he asked.
"Make sure you don't get the stitches wet." Leo said from the other side and then moved on to, N presumed, make breakfast for everyone.
