"Wear it," James said.
"Wait. How did you get in here? We're all in our underwear!" I said.
"Never mind. Just wear it," he said, with a twisted smile.

I went into my four poster and closed the curtains. After a few minutes, I came out in the sparkling periwinkle blue dress.

"Lil! You look... beautiful!" said Anne, Lil is my nickname for her.
"Thanks," I said, "Hey! What is in that box?" I asked her, pointing behind her bed.

"Ahhhhhhh, Mr Frank Longbottom," she snarled.
"Open it!" I squealed.

She tore off the pink wrapping paper. It was a big box. In there was a smaller box. She opened the smaller one, and saw a smaller one. She did this until she found the smallest one.

Dear Anne,
I am very sick, I can't go to the ball. Mcgonnagal said I must stay with the healers at St Mungos. I am very sorry, I got a necklace with a heart on it. There are our names on it. Please like it. I don't know how to apologize. I'm sorry.
Frank Longbottom.

Anne had read this out loud and tears were flowing down her face. I ran to comfort her.

"I am very sorry for you, Anne, I hope he gets better, but who will you date?" I asked her.
"I'm not going," she said, "if Frank is not there, I'll won't be there."
"I'm very sorry," I am sobbing too.
"Sorry," said James sarcastically.
"James! Don't be sarcastic!" I yelled at him.

He made cute puppy eyes and said "Awh, little miss sarcastic-police and little miss boohoo," he said.
"James! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" I yelled, "there's no way I'm dating you with an attitude like this!"
"Sorry not sorry. I already told Mcgonnagal that I'm dating you and she said no changing," he said with a smirk on his face.
